Women have no right to their own competition. A modified man is allowed to compete in women's football, sanctioned by the FA.
There are 72 such individuals currently playing in women's teams.
They have the cheek to trumpet their support for the women's game and the Lionesses. Shameful.

So far? Only at amateur / university level AFAIK. 72 are playing. I believe Blair Hamilton was/is GK for English universities team. Others will surely follow. That's one woman displaced from the team and one too many.

Yes, I've no idea what the answer is, but I know a transgender person and there is no way she would want to or be comfortable playing in a men's team.

Mind you, she was always rubbish at football so this particular argument isn't relevant for her!

I can see the merits in excluding those with a biological advantage from the highest competitive levels of a sport - even if I think the cases are going to be extremely rare, it makes sense to preserve competitive integrity. But at the grassroots level?

Equality Act 2010 allows single sex exemptions for sport. It seems the FA doesn't care enough to apply it correctly.
If you are transgender you cannot be discriminated against in employment, housing, benefits etc.
There are exemptions and the current issues around sport, prisons, refuges, changing rooms is when these exemptions are disputed.

Why must I have sympathy for anyone who wishes to force their way into a category they are not entitled to?
I am 5ft 1in and feel young. How would you feel if I identify as a 10 year old and insist on playing Under 10s girls football?
Should a heavyweight boxer be allowed to fight a flyweight if he feels lighter than the scales say?
People must play in their sex category or create their own category like Paralympians did.
No there is no compromise. Categories matter.
