Oh yea deffo.

I just want experience in. We've lost Fadz, Godden, potentially Bidwell, Wilson, older heads who have been here a while

Just feel we lack that at the moment and we will lose more of it this summer
You do realise its 22nd of May and not 31st of August right?

We will get some experienced players no doubt. Enjoy these signings as they come and look forward to seeing them play for the sky blues!

I’d get that if we were signing only one player all summer which is a development/U23 winger from Aus.

However the window doesn’t even open until 14th June, the season only just finished last week and I’m pretty sure our recruitment team are looking at other players including some with experience.

I really don’t see how having better squad depth and more up and coming talent can be considered negative…

Do we still have someone camping in the bushes at Ryton

I think after last time the club have taken down all the bushes and put up new fencing.

So going to need a drone to fly 🕊️ over Ryton.

why are we signing young Brazilian wingers from abroad with bags of potential linked with big clubs across Europe? Should be getting mark Albrighton in.

When are our fans going to learn to trust the management and scouting team? We already have Haji, Sakamoto and EMC as senior wingers. This lad would start as back up to them.

I’ve been trying a new approach and can admit I’ve finally found some sense of harmony…dont expect too much of people, our fanbase is full of cretins, and as soon as you accept that then you get less angry with the absolute dribble that people find with every development

Its genuinely quite therapeutic

John Aloisi wasn't too bad either. Probably our last aussie.

John Aloisi had played for Antwerp, Cremonese and Portsmouth by the time he joined us.- 143 games 37 goals at decent levels of football.

Time will tell on this one (if he has even joined). I don't think many were expecting great things when Ian Wallace or Stuart Pearce joined.

Interesting comments from Preston yday - seems like Browne playing them - thinking he was going to get large offers, realised he is isn’t and Preston offer is biggest.

Think things will start to move from next week.

Agree on experience it’s a must, but on the right deal.

Risedale at Preston trying to push for an answer off Browne as a date he set for the new offer to be accepted has past. Browne sounds like he looked at his offers and flew off on his holibobs to have a think about all. Or has already decided what he is doing and didn't call Preston before the date Risedale wanted his answer.

Could be a good signing but wont be crying if he doesn't come to us. Im sure we will find out soon enough where Browne has decided to go.

we need leaders on the pitch. About three of them - Sheaf assuming he stays is one but not sure about our central defenders. No Kyle McF yet. Leaders tend to be experienced but have to have a close relationship with the manager.
