A pre season friendly against a championship side won’t prove anything on how well Rangers would do in the Premier League.

Rangers and celtic wouldn't push anything in the Premier league as the league is full of multi billion pound owners .. their 100 mill tv money a year wouldn't really touch these teams .

Mile's away from the Premier leagues top teams in terms of financial power

A good season once in a while but they'd need substantial investment

Can't really work out this signing tbh - we've given him a 4 year deal and he must've been told we've got plans for him to move over from Australia but it would be a massive step up for him to contribute regularly in the Championship, and his numbers aren't even that impressive.

Ah well thats that then.

Sakamoto's stats weren't impressive either and then proved to be one of our best players.
Let's be optimistic and hopeful rather than glass half empty with everything we do.

Sakamoto was playing at a much higher level and wasn’t moving to the other side of the world.

Just seems a bit odd.

I believe there's 2 conversations to be had here...
Our city side in the Scottish prem yeh ( that's assuming our side is beamed into the Scottish prem ? ) we'd walk it !!
But beaming rangers or celtic into our league ...that's an entirely different conversation hahaha ... it would be like beaming a nation state into the championship and with different budgets and sponsorships....im afraid we'd dissappear quickly in the rear view mirror alongside any other team in the champ ....
Don't forget it's a country with a chip on its shoulder... invasions every week .
But hey ...CTID haha

He's not tearing up the Australian league, which is a poor standard of football.

His underlying stats aren't very good

He's 20, not 18.

He was let go by Melbourne (CFG).

Just can't see it personally. I'll be happy to be proved wrong.

Stranger things have happened. Tatsu's stats were average and his side in Belgium had just been relegated.
