Season tickets for 2024/2025 season (18 Viewers)

People have had plenty of notice. Why not extend it to include July’s payday? An extension isn’t fair to those who have committed early. If bigi’s dot counter is anywhere near accurate, STs will be a near sell out. I See we have broken the20k barrier. If I was Doug I wouldn’t extend the early bird, sends completely the wrong message for future seasons.
It’s always extended

How many were bought by people who vowed to not renew because of the Sky Sports+, lack of Saturday games, FZ faff and what have you

The glory years. I miss choosing what row we'd have completely to ourselves with our season tickets

Someone, somewhere, will deep down just want to be the only fan attending matches. They will demand the club still award them loyalty points for priority tickets, because they deserve it. 😂

If shall we say the club sell 20,000 , that means that with new ST holders they would have lost 2,000 ST holders from the previous 19,500 .

Maybe the club should look as to why that happened ? Seems a large amount to not renew , Circa 20%
I would guess most of those not renewing have to travel some distance for home game, with games being moved on a regular basis it can make it impossible to get any value from a season ticket.

5 of us have decided not to renew this year, I’m gutted as had great seats but with 16 home games not being played on a Saturday last season It worked out at about £65 per game I attended.

Read that as we're showing games on onlyFans!

Sounds like a Brody idea. Give £10 if you want to see Sakamoto get round the back and swing his balls in, or give £20 to see Thomas go in hard on the opposition centre-forward.

I think it's fair to say we have a relatively large core of support now .. I remember chatting on here years ago and we were resigned to us having a 7- 10k core support ..

We will average over 25,000 I'm sure again

Just want to say that I called this back in L1 and was consistently told by the experts that we would never get these kind of numbers even in the Prem.

This is where match packages come in, hopefully it's something they look at once ST sales are all but done.

Hopefully, definitely something we would be interested in.

My major concern with not renewing 🤔 is not being able to get hold of tickets for our numerous Wembley appearances.

Great knowing you're going to be going to a game with a big crowd and an atmosphere week in week out. Good for the youngsters that they will feel they're at an event with a buzz, rather than being dragged up there in a 12k crowd or less of a few seasons back.

It’s not a given. There were several shite atmospheres last season.

Portsmouth have sold 14,000 so far off the back off promotion too , so 20k is very very good

Cardiff sold just over 12,000

Sunderland almost 32,000

Well if you ramp up the atmosphere across most games what was once an ok atmosphere will seem dull. It is all relative.

Was it even “ok”? The last couple of months people were booing, and in patches throughout the season yeah it was a shit atmosphere - again, particularly towards the end.

it makes a huge difference to the team.
especially if we keep it positive, and don't moan every time a pass goes astray.

Nobody was booing around me. Anyway if you think it is a shit atmosphere why don't you just stay away? It might be you dragging the atmosphere down?

it's not necessarily booing. but 25000 people all muttering "FFS" can get quite loud.
the players can hear that.

There were boos. Hardly deafening, but they were there. But I’ll stay away because I’m dragging down the atmosphere 🤣

You know, I could selectively forget the countless posts on countless match threads pointing out the crap atmospheres and deny it ever happened because we sold more ST’s. “— atmosphere week in week out” is what I’m calling out as nonsense. It happened.

Agree sometimes it can be during games, but beforehand around the ground and pubs, there is the 'buzz' of an event taking place, which is a million miles from rocking up at home to Walsall, Port Vale, Southend and co a few seasons back.

Going all the way to Crewe to see us batter them, and Arma’s goal, the Crewe ‘massive’ of 12 yr olds, and the chippy! Priceless memories with my lad, but yeah, some of it WAS shit.
How far we’ve risen in a short time.
