Think it was more an option being triggered by QPR. Likely just for 12 months to command a fee. He would have always needed a compensation figure so doesn't change a huge amount in reality.Armstrong signed a new contract 2 days ago

Would love to sign Conway but even with a year left on his contract I’d imagine he would be unaffordable. I suspect he may move up a league as a development player to a Bournemouth or somewhere similar.

I love the big international tournaments.
When we were a First Division team I used to watch them all trying to identify players we could sign. Talented players would emerge that you had never heard of, particularly from Africa and Eastern Europe.
Now we can’t buy or attract those players and there are very few surprise players but there is still a little part of me that still thinks I’m scouting …. I’m now 52

Doesnt feel like a Sunday without an exclusive from Nixon that someone is thinking about maybe preparing a bid for Sheaf at some point maybe this summer maybe not
The downside of the euros …. It always goes quiet on the domestic transfer rumours front when the tournaments are on …. I doubt however it will slow down our actual progress.
