Summer transfer window 2024 (43 Viewers)

long way home

He is a player i could see us interested in, young, plays multiple positions, quick and looks very technical with the ball. I cant imagine he would cost too much or even be on too much, low risk high reward signing of a player in a position of need.

Why ?

it’s a forum to discuss football and a thread to discuss the transfer window.
I'm just giving my opinion. I come on this thread to hear about possible signings where there is still least smoke to build to a fire.

Not just I saw this guy he's good. When zero links to cov looking at them

I'm actually not that bothered though so do what ya want guys. Chill

I see Sam McCallum is still a free agent.

Anyone thinking this is still likely for us, but all dealings (as with other players in and indeed out) are being kept hush hush?

Around Swansea and Cardiff way, a shag is a mate. 🤷‍♂️

I’m with @Saddlebrains, can’t be bothered with it anymore. Too much effort.

Vanity of vanities; all is vanity.
I have no choice, like a football player if I don’t perform ( thank god for them blue pills ) someone else might take up that position 🤪 she even hinted at going lezza with some Thia bird with a bigger cock than me 🤔😂😂😂😂

Seems sheffield united can't afford to make browne an offer til the takeover happens. Maybe we will sign him after all

Think that's out the window now with Stamenic signing and Sheaf evidently staying
Is Sheaf evidently staying? Not been much talk lately of Gyokeres leaving, in fact the opposite given that Sporting’s manager has committed to at least another year.

Don’t get me wrong, I hope he does stay though.

think it’s more we have a strong stance on our valuation 20 million or he stays and no team looking likely to pay that right now and if they were we’d have more than enough money to find a replacement

Also Hazrollaj was just a shout, but check him out. Very techy winger, only 20 but has an insane statline, one of the top goal contributors in all of Europe this past season albeit playing in Kosovo but still a remarkable feat. The type of player we need backing up Tats on the right, young, cheap, but the potential being there. Yes we have RBR but idk if I see him as a competent backup yet.

Can't see Alan costing a lot in the grand scheme of things. I like how he always adds energy from the bench. Obviously he isn't anywhere near the first IX but he can still offer plenty as back up. No need to ship him out as we would need cover. I'd rather we use that money on better first team targets and shift what we have already to support roles.

I’d still get Browne / move JA on then.

Browne is effectively our Kelly replacement
Stamenic is additional body we needed and you can let JA go then if he wanted.
Thought Browne had signed that contract with PNE?

Robins made a comment last season about looking forward to having him back for next year so I think he’ll be staying

I suspect the key will be whether Allen wants another season of limited first team action or would prefer a move to play more …..

It wasn’t a criticism …. Just saying if he doesn’t play much this season then it’s almost 2 years of his career without football and he’s not getting any younger …. Must be a consideration for him.
But my point was more wherever he was, Mansfield or Man Utd, he wouldn't have played much last season so it's hard to draw too much conclusion about how he stands going forward. I don't think he's as worthless as this board makes out - the season before he was an ever present until he got injured at the end, Viveash apparently banged the drum for both him and Eccles to be more involved.

We'll see of course, and the main reason for him to move on would be his best position is a bit redundant in our system as it stands just atm; now *that* either hurts him as a footballer (makes him look worse) or will make him play less but... things can change quickly, and I really do think this board diminishes his contribution to our playoff final run, and diminishes how respected he is by Robins and Viveash, so I wouldn't say it's automatic he's on his way.
