I really hope so. We’re just two or three players of Simms/Wright/MvE quality away from a decent team IMO. Don’t think frees and loans would cut it.

Makes sense to get someone who can play RB and RW. We can’t be sure how Rodrigues will get on so this guy would be backup right back and 2nd/3rd choice RW

Could give us a good option of bringing on Camara at RB when we want to go more attacking & Lati when we we want to sure things up.

Also makes sense with our RM being more defensive and LM being an inside forward.

Going purely on fifa stats (which granted aren’t the best but can’t find much else tbh) he doesn’t seem anywhere near the same level as Van Ewijk, then again if he’s a back-up then doesn’t need to be? He’s European though so my balls are tingling somewhat…
