Made a cameo and looked well ahead of his years. Really think there’s someone here who could be fast tracked.
He was born in the UK but also has US citizenshipHow is he eligible for the US? Thought he was a local lad
So are you privy to club information as to how many signings we are going to make. With Dausch, Andrews, Howley and Burroughs coming through, I wonder if some people will be disappointed with the amount of signings we make this summer, not realising the actual good talent we have coming through the club. Hopefully they will show we can develop some players without spending a bomb.
His mum is American. I spoke to her after FA Youth cup win at Preston. How is he eligible for the US? Thought he was a local lad

Hope so. Would be nice to have one come through and stick again. It's been a little while..Made a cameo and looked well ahead of his years. Really think there’s someone here who could be fast tracked.

Don’t think you are wrong at all with that view.Whilst I like the optimism (and maybe you know something that I don’t), I think that all of those players mentioned aren’t yet good enough to rely on as subs. Imagine being 1-1 against Leeds and we swap an injured Simms for Dausch or a tired Eccles for Burroughs, we’d then be at a big disadvantage in the game.
We need subs to come on and make an impact rather than weaken the team. I’m sure they’ll be good in time but I hope that the recruitment don’t start thinking we’ve got enough depth now just because we have these youngsters.
Another of the young talents coming through is Elliott Betjemann. If he continues to develop the way he’s started it wouldn’t surprise me to see him making the bench later in the season.Justin Obikwu is also highly rated, didn’t do too bad on loan at Grimsby.
Forgot to mention, I do think Dausch is our best young talent going forward, I hope we keep him and bring him on. Maybe in a few years he’ll be worth a few bob.
Last year it was most of them due to having no squad!Robins normally likes to take a couple of the youngsters on the pre season.
Yeah could be another Viktor Gyokeres, but can we just see him play in the first team before we think of selling him.
Kobee!I’m afraid these youngsters are just prospects for the future and not going to make meaningful contributions to the first team. They may get a chance to make cameo appearances, but nothing more than that. I think this coming season is going to be our best chance to go up and I don’t see a precocious talent like a Kobee Mainoo among them (unless I’m mistaken). Last season we had so many young subs on the bench that hardly got a chance to play. Sorry but I’d rather us build a squad with proven campaigners.

Probably not previously, but my gut tells me that Doug and MR are ambitious and trying to speed up our progress and reach our goal of making it to the Prem sooner rather than later."Proven Campaigners" when was the last time we did that ?
That’s a fair point. Striking that balance is the key.Agreed but while you don’t want to rely on them, you always want to give young players a chance if they’re considered good enough. Would rather have a couple of potentially very good 18/19/20 year olds on the bench, getting 10-15 mins here and there, than more Sean Maguires

The way he can drive forward with the ball and progressive play is very impressive for such a young lad. Got some great skills as well.
