I think this is a good point people need to take I to account. Things can change. Doesn't mean original rumour didn't at one point have legs etc

It was myself who posted about this when talking on the Windass thread. (Sorry I've been on vacation)
To clarify, I never said it was an out and out striker.
I had been told he would replace Godden (who wanted out for guaranteed game time), and this led me to assume we would be playing a different formation next season. He is a forward player. He is 25.
I have never posted on here before then, as I don't really like to relay anything I've been told. I'd seen the Windass discussion though and wanted people to know that our aim is younger / development players, we can do better than Windass.
I think this signing shows our intent, he is proven and the coaching staff can certainly get more from him, in my eyes.
You'll understand with the outcome of Stamenic, why I steer clear of mentioning a name outright.

I'm guessing the news is filtering through to other sources now, as I've seen Saddle and Gimoc have seemingly been told the deal is near to being completed, with both saying 25 year old due in. I'm surprised neither of them have revealed the name. As with Stamenic though, it's never done until its done.
I would think it will be soon though, as it's been a long time in the making.
Both the manager and the player have been away last week, back now though.

Some of us are just fans,and are glad of any bits of gossip coming out.
If these guys stop posting, we ain’t got a thread.
So give it a rest, most of us don’t care if they get it wrong now and then.

No. Not sure where the KJ / JK initial thing came from, I never mentioned initials on any of my posts, it would be an instant give away. I'd prefer one the forum 'in the loop' would just reveal. Im sure they must have been told.
