Also my biggest takeaway from this is how many thick people think Tenerife, Lanzarote and Ibiza are the same place.

Yeah, you can't read anything into that at all.

A girl went missing here, between Dover and Folkestone. She was walking from Folkestone to Dover and never arrived. Loads of sightings of her in Dover for days after, but she didn't even make it. She committed suicide on the rocks closer to Folkestone, on the way.

Never, ever made it to Dover, despite all the sightings.

I hope they find him unharmed eventually. However it all seems a bit odd after all of this time.
There's a story going around that allegedly he was in a massive drugs debt and this whole thing is a set-up to get the justgiving page to raise thousands to bail him out while he continues to lie low.
The truth will out!

Can't help but think that in the same way Shannon Matthews mum got her inspiration from what happened with Madeline McCann that this was inspired by what happened with Dr.Moseley

I could be talking shite, would be far from the first time

why would they need to withdraw money from the gofundme for the mountain rescue team, surely their employer pays them?

do you really need extended family out there for an unspecified amount of time, are they actually doing anything that will assist?

I just can't see him being found alive now. Think the most straightforward explanation will probably be the correct one, and he got lost in the mountains and might have fallen or just passed out due to dehydration after a night out.

Just don't see how they could pull this off as some kind of scam, especially now it has so much public attention

I am sure he is dead.

There is a bit of class snobbery here to be honest. The wretched McCanns milked the system forever and received huge funds from their campaign.

Yeah definitely. His past behaviour definitely hasn't helped the case and has added to the circus.

If it does turn out it's just an accident, the trolling of the family has been terrible, and for absolutely no reason.
One family friend was telling the BBC someone made a fake Facebook account of her own dead mother to message and harrass her, just because she was one of those out there looking for him. Mental

Bit of a difference as Maddie McCann was 3 yrs old and unsupervised, this lad is 19 and should know better.
I'm not defending either by the way just saying that everyone was just thinking of the poor girl at the time.

If it happened to someone like Michael Moseley it could happen to pretty much anyone. Finding the body though would at least help the family move on.

My point is the mcanns had huge support as they were middle class doctors. If they were benefit losers from Wigan they’d never have had millions to use for themselves. I never understood why that was a special case

Wow, they are trying to withdraw money? Nice holiday out there!

As for the McCanns, absolute cretins and it was wrong they even got away with it (let alone shit loads of money).

I really don't get the gofundme culture, there was one a couple of years ago where a woman in Cov fell for a scam and bank transferred somebody some money for a couple of brand new phones (Im sure she sent them about £200 for a couple of top of the range iPhones). She then did a gofundme and actually a decent chunk. It's weird.
