Thanks for the warning. For those who can bear it on sky now
A sofa off the pitch would be better.Thomas and Kitching on now for Barnsley play off final.
Collins on the bench…where he should be this year.
Hardly. Hamer's injury was the critical moment.McFadzean and Kelly cost us that final (obviously other than the penalty miss)
Both at fault for Luton’s goal
I mean, I’ve watched this and the semi-final highlights, up until just after Torps goal, probably a lot more than I should have.
If the link works, Wolves v Cov Q final highlights, instead.
That'll cheer some of you up !
Yeah, we were growing into the game. I’m convinced if he’d stayed in we win that 2-1Hardly. Hamer's injury was the critical moment.
He’d also have buried his penalty if it still got to that.Yeah, we were growing into the game. I’m convinced if he’d stayed in we win that 2-1
Hardly. Hamer's injury was the critical moment.
Because that first half we were set up all wrong and should have been much further than a goal down. Blaming McF and Kelly is bizarrewhy?
They were both at fault for the goal, that bit is not up for debate, surely?
So how is Hamer going off with 15 or so to go the ‘critical moment’? It wasn’t great, but we’d already given a goal away by that point and if we hadn’t we would’ve won 1-0
The Godden chance was about 5 minutes after we equalised wasn't it, or was I drunker than I originally thought? We were definitely in the ascendency, you could feel it in the stadium. Gus' injury completely killed it.To be honest just before extra time a great chance fell to Godden. Not and easy chance, but the sort of chance often puts in the top corner. It fell to the right player on our side. He put it just wide of the top corner.
That is football. Games are littered with mistakes, opportunities missed and taken.
Sometimes you have to stop gazing at your navel, stop raking over the ashes and move on. The result was the result and no amount of analysis will change it.
If I remember right he made a tremendous leap for a headed challenge but I can't remember him landing badly? The Godden chance was about 5 minutes after we equalised wasn't it, or was I drunker than I originally thought?
