So many changes to backroom staff does give it a bit of a transitional feel. Hopefully with most of the players being at least second season it won't spill over onto the pitch.

Yeah would definitely take Jebbison on a free, I feel like he has a lot more potential compared Campbell and if he achieves that potential then he could be worth a few bob in 2-3 seasons time? I struggle to see why not if he’s on a free, provided his wages aren’t ridiculous.

Oh fairs, well even so, surely it won’t be much? Anything under £1 mil is a decent price for a back up striker who has a lot of potential? Or would the fee be a lot more than that?

As good as he’s been in the past I’m glad that Godden’s moved on, doesn’t seem that interested in playing for us atm and has offered little all season compared to previous seasons (granted Simms has took minutes off him).
I’d rather see him leave and make space for young talent to fill his place than to keep him going until he’s ran his legs off, but thank you to Godden for the many goals, been a club legend for sure

I am not sure he wasn't interested....He just wanted to be starting, and once Simms and Wright caught fire he never got a look in. I think our quick counter attacking style which started at the end of 2022 when O'Hare did his ACL didn't suit Godden's game at all.As good as he’s been in the past I’m glad that Godden’s moved on, doesn’t seem that interested in playing for us atm and has offered little all season compared to previous seasons (granted Simms has took minutes off him).

Matty Godden has been great for this club and part of our progress. But last season showed the club's progress meant we were no longer the right fit for him.
Sometimes players have to move on, best for them and best for the club. He deserves to play every week somewhere and not be a bench warmer for us.
I wish him well.
