I thought it was Huski Chocolates? Just assumed they were a chocolate company?

They're a Scandinavian company who manufacture and sell hot and cold Chocolate drinks. They used to sponsor McLaren F1 and I've done some work with McLaren about 4-6 years and went to a few events and GPs with McLaren sponors. Safe to say a couple of the guys from Huski were pretty crazy and extrovert.

Nice blokes, good story from what I could remember and were keen to break into the UK market. The spent a fair whack on the McLaren sponsorship - it's not cheap sponsoring in F1.

Maybe it is a sample, we do normally get something inside the neck, old badges, photos etc

Yeah I agree, I think the sponsor is pretty decent for our level, the FA cup run must have done wonders for our image as a club. Much better than “Huski Chocolates” (?) like Milwall

I also quite like the fact it’s white and reminds me of Spurs’ kit (which obvs won’t go down well) or Fulham kit, at least we’re looking more professional. Also think white looks sleek and simple, like the England kit. On away days we’re going to turn up, bag 3 points and fuck off

They did the shoot yesterday. I doubt they would get all of the promo etc done in less than a day. Monday/Tuesday next week seems realistic to me. Still at least you can moan for a bit longer so all good.

100% agree, we need to not get sentimental about certain players. They just play for us, they don’t live and breathe the life of the average Coventrian, we’re the ones that are passionate about the club, we’re the ones that give away our own money to support our club, not the players.

The likes of Bidwell have been great for us but if someone gives us a fair whack for him then absolutely he should go. Let’s get in another Van Ewijk for £3-5 mil and upgrade the squad. If we spend £15-£20 mil wisely this summer we can have a promotion worthy team, we just need to accept that we may have to break some eggs to make a promotion-omelette.
