Regarding DK. You absolutely need strong leadership from the top with the ability to sometimes make the hard unpopular decisions. He has done plenty of that and has definitely improved revenue streams, the team on the pitch and the off field facilities.
What you absolutely do not need is a dictatorship, as history will tell you that way leads to disaster.
I have no insider knowledge of DK but have worked with enough CEOs to know the good, the bad and the ugly.
DK is looking mainly good so far but leaders are often one dreadful mistake away from undoing all the good work.
After SISU, Robinson and McGinnity, DK looks like a star so far. The proof will be our progress from now on.

The vastly improved training complex?
Quality signings on longer term contracts?
Record season ticket sales?
Season ticket price freeze?
The Premier package, when I tell mates that support other teams they can't believe we got such a great deal?
The vastly improved match day experience?
The feel good factor all around the club?
The sponsorship with Monzo, nothing against KoS but this is a massive upgrade?

So yes, he hasn't got everything right but I'm actually enjoying supporting the club again

Thanks for elaborating @Hutch11, as I also thought I’d missed something immediate.

Overall, for me at least, it’s a refreshing experience to have someone at the helm who is actively endeavouring to better the club, investing in it, rebuilding the foundations and making the PL push an observable reality.

That’s the difference, between his vision, and the chancers we’ve had previously, who were always leveraging the club against gambles that never paid off.

This could be a very, very interesting couple of years ahead for Coventry City.

I’m quite aware that there’s always the possibility of even the best laid plans going tits up, for some unfathomable reason, however our optimism has a strong foundation.

If he sells us to an Oil tycoon, though, please, hold me back.

Agree with all this. He’s clearly putting in strong quality foundations at the club. His big problem is getting hold of the ground I guess as that is the big hurdle for getting the big investment.

Not saying they are working together or there is any conspiracy but maybe the thought of both Ashley and Doug is to get both the stadium and the club in a much better state in 5 years so someone bigger comes along to buy both at the same time for a tidy profit.

let’s just hope it all goes to plan and if we can get into the prem even better.
