Just bought ours, wasn't expecting fees for a pre-season friendly. Only a quid each but really can't believe it's not better to have our own staff and systems than pay ticketmaster all the time after £8ea season tickets.

Ticketmaster seems to have a monopoly on it. Even if we had our own system it would probably have to be compatible with theirs in the event of any Wembley matches?

You'd be adding more than a quid to the price of each ticket to develop our own ticketing platform, maintain & staff it.

I forgot to get them at 10 and forgot all about it until 12. Still got two tickets without any issue. Charges for a pre season friendly is a bit much.

I'm not so sure. 25k season tickets at £8 each is £200k before you start on single match tickets. Minimum quarter of a million per season. Even if hardware and infrastructure costs £100k in year one which seems high for a pretty basic function. That leaves £150k yor a few staff who most of the time can do something else as the season tickets peak in around 1 month out of 12. I doubt anyone would complain about an £8 charge if it was either benefitting the club or employing local people, instead of some rip off company.

Slow off the mark getting tickets and they appear to be sold out. Think their away end is 1300, so guessing will be more...
