Shame. There will be loads over in Spain around the 19th, and would be fun to spend 90 minutes shouting abuse at Greenwood.

Probably why it IS behind closed doors.

Google street view looks like it's not technically 'behind closed doors'. Reckon you could still get a view to watch it.

he doesn't even play for them anymore
I know! I was literally replying to a post that said he wasn't there, which is why I said it was a shame. Probably best to read before replying.

He's going to Marseille for £27 mil. Apparently the mayor of Marseille has objected to the transfer though! Another club which has a low bar standard.

27 million quid for someone you are actively seeking to get rid off is not bad business

Hold on, all the charges were dropped. This suggest not enough evidence to go to trial. It is one of those he said, she said cases isn't it?
Yes he spoiled his copy book, but as with Ched Evans he must be allowed to continue his career without fear of retribution. I'm sure United felt he besmirched the club, and fell victim to contract stipulations as you are a player and representative of the football club. Not a great look for Utd, so out the door he goes. But he is entitled to get his career back on track, and as it stands Utd are about to cash in by some 27m. Good luck to the young man and I hope he has learned a lesson, and Marseille benefit from his services.

So we are to ignore what was made public clearly showing he was guilty? Charges being dropped does not equal innocence

I'm confused by your comment. Charges dropped means a prosecution is not likely. We don't accuse and then trial by public opinion.

Who dropped them though? I can accuse based on seeing the publicly available evidence. If you want to ignore that then that says a lot about you tbh

Charges were dropped because the only witness stopped co-operating with the investigation. As is often the case in cases of domestic violence there isn’t much the police can do when the victim doesn’t co-operate with the prosecution. The evidence against him was made public and is extremely damning. The fact it wasn’t enough for criminal charges is more a depressing indictment of how little protection our criminal justice system offers to women who face violence from their intimate partners. To wish him the best of luck is disgusting and highly embarrassing.
