Just a heads up to anyone out here with no ticket, the ticket portal occasionally shows the cheaper tickets. Be quick and regularly check the portal! Currently available at an eye watering €600.

I was tempted to get a ticket to tonight’s game at €195 but it was impractical to get to Munich.

£750 for Cat 3 is criminal! You can get them on the UEFA portal for €600 category 1! Even prime seats at €900.

How's the atmosphere out there now?

I assume England fans still having a good time but can't imagine what it's like without a bit of everybody.

Hi @coop. This has been pretty cheap. Especially considering I’ve come home for a couple of days twice. Tickets are very reasonable (cheaper than Championship games in some cases) and accommodation has been good. A mix of 4 star hotels and apartments at 20-35 quid a night.

The Dutch have been great. Been quite a few of them and us in Dusseldorf over the last few days.

Not as expensive as I thought but it must get into thousands some tournaments Hopefully we get to the final and win it.

Plenty of street parking on the north side of the river in Düsseldorf, easy to get into town from there and then a train to Dortmund

If you're having a drink hide the keys somewhere in the car while sleeping in it. The Polizei charged my mate for being in charge of a vehicle while I under the influence even though he was asleep and no intention of driving.

Yes - see a psychiatrist 😀
Seriously though, it's staggering how much effort some people are putting in to watch England, and I really hope the performance and the atmosphere justify it. Enjoy the Channel cruise and have a great trip!

Might need a divorce lawyer as only broke the news to the wife at 6pn last night.....655am ferry is full of England fans heading to the game last minute...2 of us in the car....£49 ferry crossing cost......can't complain. Enjoy the game 👍🏻

That is a modern day free kick anywhere else on the pitch. So as harsh as it looks (and you'd be miffed if it was given against you!), it's a foul and a pen.

It's a late tackle, he didn't play the ball. It's a pen.

Yes he has to go and try to block it... but he doesn't block it and makes contact with Kane
Contact doesn't always mean a foul if I saw that outside the box I would not thought of it as a foul. Even Neville and Shearer were saying it was a poor decision. I didn't see any of the England players appealing for a pen. There again could have poetic justice for Keoman getting away with a red card in a Netherlands v England game all those years ago .

I didn't even think it was a free kick outside the box . Anyway it's all history now. Will be down the pub for final 2 am ko for us.

That was never a penalty and a booking to rub salt in. Kane momentum hits is foot in follow through. Not given in real time.

Another example of var spoiling game, its meant to overturn clear and obvious error, that was not clear and obvious error.

And yet again everyone has a different view, which means you can't be making that decision on a slow motion replay - if the referee hasn't given it , play on

Put Kane as a full back clearing the ball down the pitch. That is a "modern day" foul and yellow card every time.

Agree, the defender has the right to try and block the shot, and Kane’s momentum from the shot resulted in him kicking the defender’s foot. What’s the defender supposed to do? Say ‘after you, Harry’? The referee, who I thought did ok otherwise, should have had the bottle to stick with his original decision, but once they get called to the monitor, there’s usually only one outcome.

It was interesting to hear, I think, Lee Dixon, saying, ‘ I will be amazed if this is a penalty‘, but when he saw the referee called to the monitor, he said ‘I’ll be amazed if it’s not a penalty’. Says it all about how ref’s are being influenced in their decision making by VAR, and not always for the right reasons.
