Really dont get your negativity with this one tbh.

I just don’t think it’s much on an upgrade on Palmer tbh, we could say similar things about Kasey tbh “experience in this division, played lots of games, okay at set pieces, fairly quick” etc. Maybe he’ll amazing, and if he’s free then fair, but just feel like we can do better?

Didn’t make the bench sometimes the year Bournemouth got promoted

On 3 July 2021, Marcondes signed a three-year contract with Championship club AFC Bournemouth on a free transfer.[28] He was heavily involved in the first team squad during the opening month of the season, making seven appearances and scoring one goal, before being dropped to the bench after the September international break.[4][29] Marcondes returned to match play on 3 November, with a substitute cameo in a 2–1 league defeat to Preston North End.[30]

On 11 January 2023, Marcondes rejoined former club FC Nordsjælland on loan for the remainder of the 2022-23 season.[31] He returned to Bournemouth at the end of the season.

Marcondes moved on loan to Scottish Premiershipclub Hibernian in January 2024.[32]

On 5 June 2024, Bournemouth announced he would leave the club in the summer when his contract expired.[33]

The last two seasons we have reached the business end of the campaign and been so short on fully fit first team players, It's clear the squad needs to get bigger, and signings like this - whilst they may not improve the average standard - certainly add depth which you need in a ±50 game season. If there's any legs in this then I think it'll be a shrewd signing, unless Bournemouth didn't pick him because he was a knob, but you'd be surprised if we signed one of those given the recent track record of signing what appear to be decent lads.

He played 17 times that season. Granted, that's not a huge amount but he only had one spell out of the squad. Was all in a block, so suspect he was injured.

Sorry still dont really see the negatviity. We arent spunking millions here as he costs nothing. We spent more on Rodrigues and he has zero experience!

5 goals in 98 games at championship level

Yeah that’s pretty poor tbf, maybe he assists a hell of a lot, like okay fair, but I’m assuming he’s not at the form he was when he was playing for Brentford and Bournemouth? It’s got me scratching my head this one 😂

To be fair he has got 13 assists, that’s half decent

But would you have re-sgined O'Hare, with similar stats, on a long term high wage deal instead?

He's going to be back up to Rudoni I would imagine but as he can play left side too he gives us options both off the bench and when players need resting

All summer SBT : We need experience

All week SBT : We need to sign someone

We sign a 29 year old player who helped get Brentford promoted and some still aren't happy

Some absolute whoppers we have as a fan base
‘We need numbers and squad depth’ yet moan when they’re not premium championship players.

Wasn’t too long ago Sean Maguire was coming off the bench.

May not start many games but decent option off the bench.
