We don't need a Fadz replacement, he played a very specific role as the middle of a back 3, we don't play that way and that's why we didn't need him anymore. The back 4 were perfectly fine until the run of games at the end of the season. We'd played more games by the the semi final than Manchester City.

I think we need some experience be it at CM or CB. Our back line is very young Bidwell aside. And if Binks and Dovin come in for Kitching and Collins even younger.

I'm sure I've missed this being posted elsewhere already so - sorry - but just case:

"I won’t name the clubs involved, but I’m surprised Coventry aren’t one them. Harrison and Ephron Mason-Clark were superb on the left for us last season, but I wouldn’t try and tell Coventry what they should be doing as they are one of the best in the business as what they do."

MacAnthony desperate to sell harrison to us but apparently we are not interested?
We aren't interested as Burrows while having a great left foot was suspect defensively, we already have a defensively suspect lb.

Daydreaming about some 50 yo obese lad with a pint and a fag in hand before kick off then playing like the reincarnation of Yashin.

Its not a bad thing to have MacAnthony smoking on our pole. Peterborough produce some good players so it's good we seem to have a decent relationship.

Looks like we've signed the final one of those 3 youth players that @mrfr said we were after

Anyone else get the feeling this window is starting to become a bit messy and stretched? I’m not panicking, I’m definitely not panicking, I just get the feeling things have taken a different route now Stamenic did the dirty on us and Browne has signed for Scumderland. Real lack of rumours (which may be a good thing) and you’d think we’d have seen another signing by now considering Robins said he wanted transfers done a lot sooner this window so players had time to gel, not looking like that so far (unless we’re only getting Binks, Rudoni and Raphael?) 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m not panicking though, don’t panic anyone, it’s all under control I’m sure 😉
Who's in a state of panic ?

If we started the season tomorrow we would have a team like

Collins
Bidwell
Binks
Thomas
MVE
Sheaf
Eccles
Wright
Rudoni
EMC
Simms

Wilson
Torp
Allen
Sakamoto
Tavares
Palmer
Latibeaudiere
Kitching
Rodrigues
Jay da silva
Dausch

We are in no way shape or form in an emergency situation
Where did I say it was an “emergency situation”? 😂😂 Just saying it feels a bit odd, lack of rumours, kit release seems a bit of a wait, Robins wanted players in at the start of the window etc, it’s like when it’s almost too quiet in the middle of a horror film, just feels strange that’s all. I’m in no way panicking or thinking it’s an emergency 😂

When did Browne sign for Sunderland?

Im sure its not a totally financial thing but we may be waiting to evaluate what we have and then move on some of our own before overloading the numbers.

We will get the depth in each position but that may take some weeks to get all in place. I would of thought we have missed out on a few and thats ok. We will have a few ongoing but all takes time. Main thing is we haven't lost too much from last seasons squad. And that was a squad that wasn't far away from competing for top 6. Things will happen we just have to see in a few weeks where we are.

Keifer Moore going to Hull would of liked him as thought he had a great game against us looked a handful.

😂 I don’t think it’s all a load of bollocks, Robins did say he wanted the majority of new signings in early (unless the 3 we’ve signed is all we’re getting?), that part of it is at least different to what was expected before the window opened.

What he said was that he would like players in before they returned to training but that he did not expect that to happen.

Is it my imagination or do we seem to be signing 17-19 year olds who have broken through lower down? Seems like a difference in strategy for the U21s.

Just replacing what they let go from last season, you know the ones who where supposed be good prospects.

But Tavares, Costello, Lusala, etc were mostly rotting in the reserves of league clubs it being released by Prem teams. I think going for lads who have come through is a better bet at this age.
Tavares had come from Rochdale and was playing league games for them
