1 year deal ffs, going to have to do this all over again next year 😂 #prayforSaddle

I think it's a clever move by Doug King, if the Sky Blues get promoted to the Premier League then that will increase the value of the sponsorship. 🤑

Anyone know roughly how much we get for a front of shirt sponsor? Wonder if this is enough to add a few extra quid to our transfer budget? Particularly as monzo are a big company, might be worth a bit?

Just looked it up, apparently an average of £500K for championship teams, but I reckon with us being a more high profile club, along with Doug seemingly being a good haggler and the company being quite large, we could maybe say it’s at least £1 mil deal? Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a lot more tbf, the chairman being a Cov fan and the publicity we’re liking to get with the new Sky sports deal. Should at least cover a lot of costs for the season.

Pathetic tbh

Everyone knew it was Monzo

Everyone's seen the Away shirt

Everyone knows the promo was done last Thursday

Stop flogging a dead horse and reveal it

This is the result of fans demanding some news everyday 😂

I've certainly seen that white one on some FB pages.

No chance - why would somebody pay twice as much for the same exposure.

Hoffman is the chairman - the corporate governance would have gone completely awry if he was driving how much they spent on sponsorship because he supported the team

Im assuming its navy blue rather than black on that home shirt.....if its these 3 kits I'll def be buying. Did think the third was going to be red though.

I’m not saying I know, but how do you know? Why would someone pay more for sponsorship? Because they want their brand name on the shirt more than another company does? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Maybe Hoffman hasn’t steered the decision towards sponsoring Cov City in any way at all, fair enough but I’d be surprised if there wasn’t some sort of negotiation on the fee.

This is just a fan concept. As all 3 kits are the same just in different colours. Plus the white patten is different to the leak.

But if they are similar to that all 3 look good.

Or stick to your plan even though there's leaks in the club?

You don't just drip out a kit early because people got wind that it was Monzo or rush the promo/marketing, etc, because people know it was done.

If we had released a poorly edited video or just some computer generated mock ups, then people would, rightly, slate the club for it.

It's frustrating that it's slightly later than other clubs, but your messaging here is just wrong, in my opinion.

Interestingly Doug said he has learnt the lessons of the Kit shambles last year

Reveal date last year. 14th July. Today's date? 12th July

Unless they have the kit ready to go in the clubshop tomorrow, he hasn't learnt any lessons has he?
