Our neighbour is strange, but not a threat like yours, Wingy.

He's just very odd. He's only in his 30's I think, but we have been here since December and we haven't even spoken to him yet. He disappears into the house and blanks us

He talks very loudly at 3am, even though he lives alone, he still has his Halloween decorations up from last year, his garden is completely overgrown, he has never, ever put any washing out, his dining room is empty and he just sits on a tiny step stool to eat.

Oddest thing though so far (we can see into his dining room from our garden, every time we fetch washing in )....
Was that he was sitting on this very tiny step stool one afternoon, eating his dinner, wearing a balaclava. 🫣 Just the eyes, nose and mouth piece cut out.
It was a bloody hot day too.

The other weird thing is he talks to his dog only using single words. Never more than one single word.

So he will say "no " "uh-uh", "down" "in" "stop." That's about it.

Okay it doesn't sound that bad reading that back, but when you hear every day him only using one word it's very odd. He never says "good girl" or "come on" "go fetch the ball" or "want some dinner" or anything. It's nearly all "uh-uh", "no" and "in"

Weird.

We don't know whether to laugh over the balaclava, or just wait for the ransom note when one of our kids disappears.

Chopper was on up Friday the day my new neighbours moved in, I digress it was up for about an hour or so and those people in dodgy anoraks have evaporated, good news!!
So in the intervening near three weeks I had some quite intimidating bunch in there finally did a moonlight flit on Thursday.
What I don't is there were a couple of what I assumed were social workers when they moved but haven't got a clue about refuse collections or anything, boy those bins wiff I don't think they been emptied since the murder and the guy on the just said can't take em,how are they meant to cope, anyway I'm going to make more of effort to be helpful and lend them some gardening kit?
