Tavares playing against Leam? Or still not ready? I know when he got injured MR said he'd come back mid pre season

Howley must have played centre half with Kitching then

Interesting, let's hope he comes good, could save Doug King some money 🤑

Even more so when you consider Andrews, Obikwu and Dausch played with the first team so were not available for the Leamington match

Pre season has been an utter shambles. Dougs clearly not learnt lessons.
Better reach his hand into his pool of gold, rather than swim in it like Scrooge Mcduck

At this time last year we had signed MvE, Simms, and Sakamoto.

Looks like he's got the season ticket money and splashed it on another private expedition venture to Antarctica.

And this year we have 3 new players in (albeit one was officially signed in Jan), so at about the same place and there isn't so much turnover this year. I know your post was tongue in cheek, but does show we're in a decent place already. Keeper plus a couple more and we're about done I'd say.

Max was there. He still loves us.
Yes I saw Max looking his usual happy self.
I didn't stay to the very end but from what I saw I think Wisdom Mbra was our stand out player and maybe the only one who played the full 90.
Stand to be corrected.
I thought Leamington were decent and it was nice to hear total silence for the young man who was tragically killed.

U18s played the first half and then mostly U21s in the 2nd half. I'd say the U18s looked a lot better than the U21s to be honest. A typical men against boys scenario

Craig Danny providing the usual entertainment too.

It's slightly irritating that they've not released the line ups. They've even got an academy twitter account now but nothing
