The other day Expressen stated that Hammarby and Coventry are just details away from agreeing on Oliver Dovin, 22. The price tag is around SEK 20 million and the transfer is expected to be completed shortly.
Bajen's star keeper was out of the squad in Monday's loss against IFK Gothenburg (0-1). "A lighter feeling", was the official explanation from the green and white side.
But the fact is that Dovin was actually injured, says sporting director Mikael Hjelmberg.
- He hasn't trained this week. The plan was all along that he would play, but at training yesterday it was concluded that it would not work.
How are the talks with Coventry going?

- They are probably interested in Oliver, I think so.
How close are you to getting clarity about his future?
- It is difficult to answer. But sometime during the week we will probably know more about the matter.
Do you think he is sold before BP on Saturday?
- I cannot rule that out, says Hjelmberg.
At the beginning of July, Fotbollskanalen was able to tell that Hammarby wants to bring in Warner Hahn, 32, from Japanese Kyoto Sanga in the event of a possible sale of Dovin. The podcast Tuttosvensken recently stated that the former IFK Gothenburg keeper is almost ready for Bajen.
- If we lose a goalkeeper, we will have to replace with a goalkeeper.
- But now we are not there yet, with Oliver. If we lose him, there will be a replacement and then Warner Hahn is one of the options we are looking at, says Hjelmberg, adding that he wants a possible replacement in place "as quickly as possible".
