At least being CCFC fans we are nothing but resiliant!

2 Euros final defeats, Playoff final defeat and a robbed FA Cup final appaearance

we’ll have it our way one day!
And, for those who’ve supported us before the last few years, pretty shite in whatever league/cup competition we’ve been in!

I’d rather be losing in playoff and semi finals than home/away to Forest Green Rovers. It’s the dire years of mediocrity and defeat that have made me resilient.

Absolutely!
The new fan base and their level of expectation should be levelled with those of us who stood on a hill in Northampton

Yeovil rather than FGR despite Max's screamers was a low point for me. I genuinely thought our challenge was over that day and eventually expected the league trap door to hit us sooner rather than later

Teams like Cov are much more important than internationals IMO. The real football.

Skyblues always come first, I don't really have a big interest in international football or England although I watch games. I always end up sitting next to people who know nothing about football during international tournaments asking me things like why is that a penalty ( when someone took a corner during England v Spain. My favourite was when a women asked me years ago how David Beckham play for England when he's a Real Madrid player.

The second goal for Spain was as offside as our fourth goal against United!
Slightly more so in fact. I could not believe the replays that showed that but then unlike the scam that was ours being disallowed the goal stood.
It would have been cruel on Spain too but FFS it either is or it isn’t
We were robbed and over this tournament I haven’t spoken to a supporter from anywhere that thinks that it wasn’t a joke.

I don’t know man, England away is pretty pure. The striking thing I found was that there was next to no ‘big 6’ supporters out there. Chelsea, Newcastle and Villa being quite well represented. Only pockets of Man C/U, Liverpool, Arsenal and so on.

I’ve got the itch to slog out the England games again. Like anything, if you only watch England on the TV, you’ll feel a certain detachment from the team. At least, that’s how I feel and imagine that’s how a lot of sofa sitting glory supporters feel. You can feel a certain way watching the games on TV, but being there is something else.

Feeling as I did walking back from the stadium on Sunday, I’ve never felt as dejected seeing Cov lose.
