I bought the Magnifica Evo back in January & have been very pleased with it.

It's a bit more than you're looking to spend because I was keen on the fully auto milk frother etc. as I drink lattés mostly (and am a bit lazy) but generally speaking, the DeLonghi Magnifica's are pretty good value imo..
Great machine. Can vary the intensity and temperature. UE coffee roasters produce their own coffee here in Witney and have opened a cafe on site. Their coffee is great.

I used to order beans from a company called HasBean, they sourced them from all around the world and they were always pretty good. Then last year suddenly I could not get a decent extraction out of any of the beans I bought from them. Checked my machine, everything I could think of but nothing resolved it. Then somebody put me onto "The Coventry Coffee Company" and have been using their beans ever since. Really impressed with the taste and extraction and they deliver to the door.
I’ll give this a try… I’ll have a look on google. Unless you got a link chap

Camp coffee with sterilised milk.

Most of you will be far too young to know what I am referring to.

Which is probably as well.
Used to love a Camp when I was a kid. A real treat back then (talking fifties. Also old fecker).
Probably not so much now ;) but still remember the scene on the bottle very fondly.
Could never stick stera though.

Now I'm going to upset people.
I realise it's probably an oxymoron or something to most coffee lovers, but I have a good medical reason to ask.
Any recommendations for decent-tasting decaffeinated beans?
Ducks for cover. Sorry...

the supplier I use do decaff beans but i've not tried them: Decaffeinated Coffees Archives - Peak Bean
Thanks. Hayfield, I see. We were supposed to be near there this week in the camper. Unfortunately my dragon fell and broke her arm and damaged her shoulder ligaments last Friday, so that put the kybosh on it (Kudos to George Elliott though; we were ambulanced in and out again in two and a half hours, when I was expecting a lot longer!).

I'll look into trying the beans though. Shame I couldn't just pick some up.

Thought that said Peak Beak for a second. Would be a great name for a coffee brand.
I think Peak Beak is made from another type of bean. One with an O missing. Would be very popular in Sniffer's Corner.

Thought I'd start off by supporting local so just ordered a KG from the Coventry Coffee Company.

I'll let you know how I get on. Not really got fully to grips with the machine yet so we'll see.

The Missus got me a three month subscription to Rave Coffee Beans and have to say the first one they sent me, from Guatemala, have been really great.

Also, my colleague just went on her honeymoon to Kenya so got her to bring me some beans back and they were literally only harvested about 3 weeks ago so looking forward to trying them next.

No upset, my wife also has medical reasons but loves coffee. Every month she orders on Amazon, a 'San Fancisco Bay decaffinated gourmet blend (whole beans). Its Swiss water decaffeinated rather than using chemicals!
