You don't need a top keeper to get promoted.

But it helps surely? And having dodgy keeper(s) has to be worse than having (for example) a dodgy full back. The question is why you appear to think goalkeeper is the least important position on the field.

Depends when you compare to. If you go back to the days when we scraped frees and loans from L1 clubs it’s a fantastic pre season. If you think we’re Man City it’s not. Personally I’m over the moon with where we are now.

Depends when you compare to. If you go back to the days when we scraped frees and loans from L1 clubs it’s a fantastic pre season. If you think we’re Man City it’s not. Personally I’m over the moon with where we are now.

Compared to Hull (in terms of preparation) we are miles ahead of them - yes, they will probably throw some cash about as usual, but it'll be scattergun. I thought they would be aa serious rival, but now expect us to definitely finish above them.

We also need another midfielder and a full back/wing back either side.
But if we don't get them we're praying we don't get injuries or suffer fatigue.
If we don't get another keeper, we're praying the opposition dont shoot.

I think we have to accept we have 2 senior left backs and it sounds like neither is going anywhere. Its a position where we have to make the most of what we have.
