There’s mutings of him going elsewhere, now his release clause has been publicised……Doug being Doug , could we be sitting on another £1 mill plus to come our way ?

Surely he's not going anywhere given the contrived, I mean touching vieo of him been reunited with COH?!
Sheffield Utd fans seem to think they are best mates. I never really saw any evidence of that while they were here.

Gus getting a release clause so the shite can't force him to stay and King getting a sell on like a boss man is just classic City atm. Killing it.

Wouldn't be surprised Doug released the release clause to the media just to get the interest going 🤣🤣

Correct 10% sell on of full fee

So if he goes for the rumoured 22 million then 2.2 million will help the coffers
So if he goes, we get another £2m, plus at least £2m+ we must have already got from Vik's add ons for his goals and winning the league, circa £2m prize money from the cup. Plus cup gate receipts...

Even without Vik going as well we must be close to breaking even on our transfers, and we've added, hopefully, more valuable saleable assets once some/all of them prove themselves at Championship level.

Good business all round!

After the sell on fee us and them will have sold him for pretty much the same amount. We had him in the Championship with 1 year left on his contract.
Not bad hey?

I thought he was being touted at 80million +.

I still think Vic will move before the season kicks off, he’s to good for the big clubs to ignore.

Yeah, I think and hope so too. If he does then happy days.

If he goes later on, and assuming we've pretty much finished assembling our squad, I'd like to see us maybe one bonus player of real quality and keep the rest back for January. We'd be really well placed to have a good go then.

I still think we will get 1 or 2 loans in this season.

Not doubting what you've been told but surely a percentage of the full fee is too idiotic from the Sheffield United side, especially if they have only written in a 22m relegation clause. Hope you are right of course

So in effect, we could buy him back 10% cheaper than we sold him for. I know it won't happen, but theoretically it could
