Labour didn’t get 20%

But yeah I reckon that’s the ceiling for a one note immigration party like UKIP/BXP/Reform, even as a protest and with the wind behind them. It’s a touch higher in other countries with PR, but unlike America we aren’t tribal enough to sustain a party of government with fringe politics really. That’s the entire point of FPTP in fairness. Two broad church parties that require votes from non partisans to get elected.
Labour did get 20% of the electorate.

Same mate. As I’m sure you’re aware those of us who do it right get fucked repeatedly and those who don’t get away with murder.

But at the end of the day, beyond all that, there’s a little girl growing up with limited life chances. And she isn’t to blame for being born.

On a wider note, we have a birth rate crisis right now and everyone is saying they don’t want immigrants. And it isn’t nice middle class stable people who have the kids in reality.

The venn diagram of people who believe the poor should be sterilised and all immigration banned is near enough a perfect circle

They don’t seem to be so keen or committed to the promise to reduce energy bills by £400, subsequently downgraded to £300, any more.

Had to look this up to see how it works. Looks like it generates cash for treasury

Probably for the best that it’s remained an asset of the crown as one of our governments would’ve probably sold it off by now (thinking Brown with our Gold or privatisation under Tories)

Didn’t realise that the Shires retail park in Leamington was part of this

To be honest it’s the first time I’ve ever looked into it and only did as I was checking/hoping there was no charge to treasury for the GB Energy partnership. Presume there still might be but would recycle back into treasury

Wonder if they’ll release some of their land for housing and infrastructure too. New Towns and the like are right up Charlie’s street. And they’ve got enough of it.

It generates cash to some extent by the crown estate charging the civil service for using it, an utter scam

Twat. Khan that is.

Its the English Premier League

If they want to watch a competitive match, I believe there are these things called aeroplanes that teh yanh fans could hop on.

Why promote tourism to your country when you can suck up to suits at big PL clubs?

The blokes a clown. Would’ve been interesting if Tories had put up a half decent candidate for london mayor. Never quite sure why they didn’t as it’s one of the most powerful positions in the country

Been on the cards for some time. They already owned 80% of it. I work in that industry and it’s not been a secret they wanted to snap up the rest.

‘A government of service’

Yeah they’re a one term govt.

No one cares about this shit. They e confused getting elected and governing. Voters won’t give you a cookie for the finances when everything is fucked. The Tories just learned that.

“oh we can’t invest cos growth is fucked”

“Why is growth fucked?”

“cos we didn’t invest”

🤦‍♂️
