Annoying thing for me is I couldn’t even use those vouchers as they stopped letting you exchange them on the day of the game and you couldn’t do it online. We are only ever in Cov on match days. Many other out of town JSBs were probably in the same boat.

my kids had membership to give them a connection to the club and a sense of belonging, not to try and get into a few games with the rest of the family on the cheap.
We had same issue with the vouchers - if you don't live local it was extremely tricky to use!

My son has already emailed the club. He's not happy! His son, my grandson, has only just turned 2 but has been a JSB since birth! He loved the training day, but will no way be ready for a ST for a few years yet! There also seems to be no provision for under 3s either, so not sure where he stands!! Terrible decision!
Have emailed John Taylor it needs explaining or rethinking

Does Doug have children? He behaves like they are a an irritant to his business model at times. As an example when we were selling games out vs Leeds etc. and he removed his brother's advertising covers to give more seats to fans they were adult only prices, corporate hospitslity the same, if you want to bring your teenage kids to a hospitality day for your birthday it's adult prices only. I really want the club to be commercially successful, but Doug seems to know the price of everything and the value of nothing when it comes to our younger fans.
He’s clearly planning to only be here for another few seasons.

It’s such an own goal what a dick decision by someone probably at the very top
Yes it's a shame I signed my granddaughter up last season, won't be doing it again she's only 2 and lives in Stockport madness utter madness.
Plus I was told she couldn't have a season ticket until she is 3 years of age.
Work that one out.

so he can be a bit quick off the mark with some of his decisions, but he is not so daft as to not change his mind

It’s still baffling to me that he thought it was a great idea, but glad it’s been reversed (albeit only down to the reaction)

Mistakes happen, probably forgot to factor in the non Coventry based fans. As he said it affected 350/4000 so a considerable percentage.

Very refreshing that the owner listens to criticism. Goes to show they care
Prices doubled last year (£25 to £50). For those who only get to some games and usually can't attend the events due to different school holidays, we chose to go from two to one memberships and spend the rest on merchandise.
I'm pleased king has seen sense here, though if mine were younger and didn't attend any games, I would just buy the infant kit, whereas we got the kit and jsb dribblers, wingers memberships when young, as the jsbs were relatively cheap!
I will be interested to see what the new membership offers for the fans from further afield.

Well done to Doug and the club, for admitting their mistake and reversing it, long may this connection with the heartbeat of the club continue.
