I was fairly confident tbh I thought we’d finish around 5th with the current team and maybe top 3 if we had some extra quality signings come in. It’s only a friendly so it means nothing but you’d have hoped we’d at least draw this game, not be losing 2-0.

Why is there an assumption that every play not playing has a serious, months long, injury? Isn't it more likely that at this point its just been decided they aren't weren't the risk and to let them fully recover from whatever niggles they have?
