Saw a couple of things online. Can't get past the Tommy Robinson chanting, makes me cringe.

What's it all about?

Can’t think of anything worse… load of white blokes thinking they are being all patriotic by chanting anti immigration stuff and waving flags. Bit pathetic and embarrassing.

People singing Sweet Caroline and Land Of Hope & Glory...... fcuking cringe. Also terribly out of tune. The people attending and the online followers disgusting comments full of hate/racism/misogny/ homophobia are banging on about...
"saving free speech" ; "saving the country"; "fight-fight-fight"; the imminent uprising of similar people like them; etc etc..... we know Trump movement is empowering and energising them from across the pond, and Reform are fuelling the fire. Biggest argument against PR.

Just looked, his film is about the coverage of that Syrian kid who got a slap at school.

Why is it banned? Guessing it couldn't have fallen on a better day with all this air port stuff going on.

The whole "gathering for Tommy" title just makes it sound like it's all about him.

It's a branding thing. It doesnt sit right even if I agree with some points.

I don’t agree with them in any way, but surely not allowing PR just fuels this kind of issue in the long term?

Can anybody who knows more about me about this sort of thing explain more about the stuff he said about that incident with the Syrian kid and how that's terror related?

It isn't much different from the spin on the whole airport incident and lawyers getting on the spin bandwagon.

Teachers paid off with NDA not to discuss the kid being a c**t and what actually happened?

Obviously there's context and 2 sides.

I mean, their actions on the Manchester story are embarrassing. It was open season 24 hours ago, and since that second clip has come out they haven't even updated their 'verify' page, and shut down all the comment sections on their socials. It's about as missing as most of the posters on here, so one would be forgiven for pulling out conspiracy theories!

Terror legislation is vague and all encompassing cos “terrorism” isn’t really a thing other than “crimes I really don’t like” so could be all sorts there. Perhaps inciting hatred hate preacher laws?

The video was labelled as contempt of court because it repeats allegations about the Syrian lad which have already been proven false in court and Robinson had to pay £100k damages so it’s just repeating the libel he’s already been found guilty of: hence contempt of court.

He wants a legal battle and a prison sentence because it’s extremely profitable for him.
