yet some people will still moan

for someone who is not a multi- billionaire, i honestly don’t think can rationally argue on the progress we are making with him.

We would never have seen this squad, reinvestment, and transparency under SISU

Transfer business - no comment
He should speak to Gimoc who tells us its all done LOL
please please please tell me where I said it’s all done? I said I’ll be surprised if we bring many more in.

I didn’t say it was done.

yet again people on here make stuff up in their head

Cant argue with that. People are going to make mistakes in life, as long as they listen and learn then no complaints from me. It sounds like the changes to family zone haven’t suppressed take up either. Some of the decisions/changes will work, some won’t, but overall it feels like we’re in a far better place than under SISU

Remember the communications we got from Joy and Tim 🤦‍♂️
Mind you Dougs no mug, he will also be setting the scene for releasing match day ticket prices here and I’m glad WE have ST’s now 👍

Genuinely can't argue with that at all apart from the z in prioritised...

Many, including myself, would have taken a Red Bull takeover or similar a few years back, such was the desperation of the situation. That would have given us this kind of structural overhaul but completely severed whatever remaining ties the club had to its community and history.

King is giving us the investment we desperately needed, whilst maintaining its roots, and you really can't ask for much more than that.

Fair play, although could genuinely never understand what the JSB thing was trying to achieve. Decent to see though.

A U-turn on JSB membership is welcome but could have avoided the shambles to start with. Still got a lot to learn.

Nope. This is how you run a successful dynamic business, you make ruthless decisions based on the evidence you have, gain rapid customer feedback and adapt accordingly, nobody has lost out and he’s got a clear view of sentiment.

As I think has been noted before - Doug has and will make mistakes - but he listens to feed back and isn't afraid to roll something back.

This is a sign of a great leader. The best leaders move quickly, they don't wait to form consensus and convince everyone - but if they fuck up - they hold their hands up, correct the mistake as quickly as they can, learn from it and move on.

I don't think you should ask for anything more. Boneheads will though.

I ran my own business for over 25 years and never made a decision that negatively impacted my customers, nor did I have to backtrack and look a bit silly. Keep maximising income and make customers happy is a fine balancing act.

You sound like a shit leader to be honest. You never made a mistake? If you had any employees I assume they never made any mistakes either?

A good statement. A lot of work has been done in a short space of time and some of it won't be visible to us fans. Progress and change takes time to implement and reap the rewards.

Nobody gets every decision right, so a prompt reversal of JSB decision is welcome.

With such a large customer base you will never keep everyone happy. Let's be honest some people just like to moan.

Can't knock him.....absolutely listens to feedback and makes the changes immediately. Some will say (me included) he should've known about potential frustrations from supporters but not everyone is perfect.
He probably knows about the frustrations, but is adopting the more recent tactic politicians use. See what they can get away with, and then retract quickly if the public outcry is too large.

I expect this will actually increase the JSB memberships we sell as well. Bit of bad then good publicity always helps sales.

I don’t think he meant it as an affront to anyone…

Quite unnecessary, that.

You’re right - but this type of “I simply never make mistakes and always get it right” attitude is pure fantasy.

All I ask for of anyone I work with is that they are willing to disagree with a decision but commit to it and if they are making decisions that they’re open to revisiting it. The idea that you can only ever make correct decisions is absurd and says more about the person making this claim than the organisation or leader they are criticising.
