If I genuinely thought most of that, I'd keep it to myself.

Yet were still mocked by the usual suspects on here
but their situation is a bit different from Sunderland. might be wrong but they seem a bit chaotic to be real threats for Autos. no doubt they will improve but 1st... not sure I buy it

Big shout to put them top but I think Sunderland could potentially go well this season... sadly. Scratching my head a little with Wednesday though.

So Sunderland have a new manager who led a random French team to relegation, and now they're going to win the league? Don't get it.
Ha, TBF I didn't know anything about the manager. 30% win percentages and relegation in his only other job. Seems an odd choice.

The potential in this squad is through the roof, to the extent that it might only take a few subtle tweaks and shifts for them to go from being bottom half dwellers to one of the greatest second-tier sides of all time.

what the?

lol

Yeah - laughable.
Sheffield Wednesday relegated - no (rate their manager)
Oxford not in the bottom 3 (I'll be surprised)

Aside from up front, Sunderland have one of the most talented squads in the division. Sign a decent striker and they'll be well up there. They have a lot more quality than us yet our fans are very optimistic

Interested to know “They have a lot more quality than us” - Please explain????

He puts a good argument for Sunderland but it’s all conjecture and a lot of confirmation bias.

Even the most optimistic Sunderland fan would think it was a stretch.

5underl4nd will have more fans than our average, but when they turn it's toxic and 32k fans in a 49k stadium leaves lots of gaps. Great travelling support (in numbers, not the noise) and massive respect to those who follow them all over with their trips, but one of the most fickle fanbases around. So quick to jump on managers or players if success isn't immediate that there's always an implosion around the corner. Not a chance Robins would've enjoyed any longevity there however successful.

Sunderland first is genuinely a mental shout, they have added Simon Moore, Poveda who is massively injury prone, and Alan Browne to a side that finished 16th last season - Young squad which will improve but to jump all the way up to Champions is a very rogue shout

I'm sure he's a nice lad but it just seems that Gab has got himself a bit of a following on social media and proclaimed himself to be an expert, I don't really read too much into what he says
