All I am saying is that at the minute all we know is that kids have been killed and hurt. If it comes out it's an incel who hated Taylor swift, an angry family member, an immigrant etc etc then by all means discuss it but as of now the only facts is that a little kid has died and others seriously injured by a bloke.

My overpowering thoughts are just what those families must be going through. My little one will be going to nursery school and I'm dreading it. Our society, wherever you lie on the political spectrum, is not a healthy one.

One hopeful reassurance you'll find is that when we went round nurseries a few years ago they all made a point of highlighting their security. They weren't fort knox but nobody's able to just walk in off the street or get access with great ease, I'd like to assume it's the same across the board. Hard not to let your mind race when something like this is in the news

I don't think this is the thread for it to be honest, because it could derail, but I have always been against the death penalty, because mistakes do happen and innocent people would be killed.

Some people want to die too, so that gives them the out they seek anyway.

I think a life of confinement, reflecting on your actions is a much better way to go

Not advocating that people beat this guy up every day, but they would be fearing for their own safety and be constantly reminded of what they did
