Allen better than Eccles so far. Eccles bit sloppy at times and I hated when he got out muscled in the corner despite being in front of the Everton player. Rudoni looks quality and EMC looks like he can be a handful.

It looks like MVE is pushing high up the pitch which is cramping Saka for room at times.
But it is creating space /triangles with Rudoni that look very dangerous. Allen played well and EMC looks very strong and tricky.

Everton fan before the goal. ‘To be fair we are playing a team that were robbed of an FA Cup Final’

just before 1/2 time.

’They deserve to be in front‘

and from a bloke in spain

The Spanish commentary is singing Simms name to Hey Jude.

I'm dying here

I'm only listening to us in Spanish from now on.

Lack of concentration by Thomas. MVE had one too where he gave it straight to them. Lack of intensity in the game causes it but it's been very impressive.

EMC beat 3 in one move and looks strong and quick.
One lovely turn from EMC where he rolled Coleman, just need to get the final ball or shot

Rudoni is the conductor, his movement and communication is quality. He creates so much space for himself, impressive player.

Mason Clark is a strong and good on the ball way too strong for Coleman.

Allen, Binks and Milan have all been very good.

Good half the squad will take a lot from that as we definitely controlled tempo and possession.

I think I prefer EMC starting to Wright on this showing. Involved, aggressive, some defensive capability. Early days though.

Very pleasing first half

Emc and dovin look great

Rudonis been good albeit it sloppy sometimes. But like Kasey Palmer he will try stuff more so you have to accept it won't always pay off

This is why calls to bin off Allen were ridiculous. This formation will suit him down to a T. He's already integrated in the team and Robins likes him.
I remember being critical of Allen when we first came up, thinking the championship was a step too far for him but he proved me wrong and has always been solid when called upon.

As you said, the system we seem to be playing now benefits him a lot because he can roam and use his running and energy effectively rather than just having to hold position.

Think he'll be getting a fair bit of game time this season.
