But EMC is LW, Wright and simms are strikers. I don't think you'd drop a fantastic RW to put a striker in there out of position. Last season we had no option but to play Wright at LW. This season is different

Everton look a week behind us. But we have played some nice football. We look like we want to get the ball forward quickly which is good

Mason Clark looks a strong player rather than a tricky wide player. Attacked the ball well at the far post for his goal though.

Pre-season so I still don’t think anything matters until Stoke. But EMC looks extremely solid business. Also, it’s human nature to get excited about new signings but Allen has such value to this squad. Dovin was assured.
