I've also found that if I wake up and theres an armed intruder standing over my bed they're generally quite sporting and count to 20 to give me a sporting chance of getting to my locked gun cabinet.

Always remember when my missus thought she heard something downstairs , I went to check it out, bollock naked and as I got halfway down I too thought I heard a noise In the living room .
I shouted to my missus to pass me the bat ( knowing there was no bat but trying to scare said non existent intruders) and she lovingly shouted back for the entire world to hear .......WHAT BAT !!
She'd have got me killed ffs

Few days post incident and this one has really stuck with me. I have two girls aged 3 and 4, and they regularly attend dance classes. I honestly cannot comprehend what the parents are going through. Losing a child is surely the worst experience you can have in life.
As for the aftermath it’s an absolute disgrace too. I hope those rioting last night face proper consequences, absolute scum.
The Police are far from perfect, but they’re also human. After witnessing first hand what they or their colleagues did the day before, to then be faced with a lot of absolute tossers with the sole aim of causing trouble, must have been tough.

I remember back in the mid 70s when I was 9 or 10 my Grandad had a Luger he'd bought back from the War. Used to wave it around with my mates during the school holidays when we were out and about. Obviously not loaded, but fuck, the stuff you could do back then.

There's a lot of pensioners who don't need it though. It needs streamlining.
I actually know a few pensioners and all but one said they don't need it.
We have to help the ones really struggling.

You couldn't make it up Otis but a large group are heading to Dover to police the beaches.Apparently also shouting "stop the boats" (the Southport attacker was born here and has lived here for 17 years) and "sane our kids" while seemingly aiming flares at Winston Churchill's statue.

None really seem related but law and order does seem to have succumbed. Not sure what the answer is or how the police take back control, but I'll bet there's more to come. Personally, and I know he wasn't popular, but I'd still get Boris' water cannons out.

I'm a pensioner Otis and pay income tax...tbh I can manage without it but what pisses me off is that 800,000 pensioners are entitled to "pension credit" and are too proud to claim it (or don't know how to) getting "pension credit" would qualify them for the winter fuel allowance.... only my opinion but Reeves should have corrected this anomaly alongside the scrapping of the allowance.
