Thank you for restoring some pride and belief in our beloved football club. Thank you for giving us some of the best results we have seen in years. Thank you for getting the players to play to their potential. Thank you for stopping our club from being a national joke (at least on the field). Thank you Mark Robins and keep up the great work you are doing. PUSB

psgm1 Has been quiete lately, it was only 4 days ago that he was trying to slate MR record

"bear in mind that cov have played the likes of Arlesey morecambe and the stat doesn't look so impressive. Also factor in Cov didn't score tonight and they have only one once in the league when McGoldrick hasn't scored!

Results have been skewed by McGoldricks form. Without him, it would be 3 league wins in his time here - hardly inspiring"

I wonder what misrable drivvle he will come out with next.

Agreed MR is doing a great job and promotion this season is becoming a possibility. Depends on whether SISU will back him in Jan when it comes to finding replacements for McGoldrick and Bailey.

Don't think we are there for promotion yet have a feeling we will be OK but depends if we end up getting docked points... MR is doing a great job though, Wasn't that long ago I couldn't see where a goal was going to come from!

Similar to 66/67 promotion year when we started poorly and went on an amazing run to get promoted. That was under Derek Robins and Jimmy Hill. Now we have Robins 2;)

"The manager doesn't make any difference, we could have Ferguson in and he wouldn't be able to do any better with this bunch of players."

Think that Robins this season has proven the above totally false, a real manager does make a difference, and would have done last season too.

The most sense I have seen on this Forum for a long while

It was no manager on the planet could get this lot promoted wasn't it.

He seems to be in with a fighting chance despite the 5 defeats.

Don't let MMM hear that, he'll drop his pie on the floor.

I can't believe that after the second win where we've scored 5 goals, people are still attributing our good form to one player, outstanding as he's been.

Along with League 1's top goalscorer. ;)

A player doesn't get to become the leagues top scorer on his own.

No he doesn't it means we are creating chances something you don't do when retaining possession in and around your own 6 yard box.

A real manager makes a difference. As does having the league's leading scorer, a luxury the previous manager never enjoyed.

To to take anything from Robins. I'm overjoyed with that he's produced

I thought the previous manager spent half a million on the man he assured us would be the leading scorer didn't he?

I thought McDonald was going to be our 20 goal a season striker?

No I think you will find key players have been added and others like Hussey shown the door when the previous regime would not have even blinked an eye at his destructive behaviour.

Even baker will be fined for his indiscipline on Saturday. That's what being a manager is all about not just standing on the touch line scratching his head.

Jennings and Edge are the only 2 of ATs summer signings who can get in the first 11....Malaga transfer listed, Killane retired, brown, ball and Elliot seemingly exiled.

Tbf, McG probably would've signed if AT hadn't got the sack, as we're rumoured to be interested in him before Bury (maybe before season started, IDK exactly when, but we were) and also, Carsley + Shaw were reminiscent of the 'old regime'.
