He comes across very well as a nice, articulate and sensible lad who should gel well with the rest of the squad.

I can’t believe the attacking options we have now:

Simms
Wright
Saka
EM-C
BTA
Rodrigues

Then we have other players who, although not front three options, are still good going forward and should get a good few goals between them:

MVE
Torp
Palmer
Rudoni

We should be a really attractive team to watch 😊

I think EMC and BTA are going to WIN games for us!! C'mon Assante be our assassin.

As with all our players, seems a likeable lad

Robins doesn't tolerate knobs

When I see the character of out current squad, I'm actually a little bit ashamed of myself that I condoned us signing a man convicted of sexual assault.

I didn't realise just how much better we could be

To think in years gone by to stop us it’s been about nullifying one individual (Jodi Jones, Tatsu, Hamer).

Now in one single match opposition are going to be potentially having to deal with a variation of Simms, Tatsu, EMC, Wright, Rudoni and Asante throughout 90 minutes
This is what excites me the most ….

Surely you didn’t leave out Palmer on purpose?

Exactly what I was thinking. No reason the attackers we have can’t get 60 goals between them. And if the others chip in too… 80 goals pretty much gets play offs and 90+ is top 3

Good interview and you can tell he actually wants to be here. The posters before have said what I was thinking… the interesting snippet to me was that we nearly signed him in our L2 days and he wanted to join us back then, even being contact with ‘the boys’ and came to watch us play at the RICOH.

It’s going to be a good signing and at a bargain price. Simms and Wright have got to be on top form all year.

This is a million times better than the welcome videos we've seen over the last couple of years with the totally inane welcome questions. As a couple of classic examples: 'Looking forward to meeting the lads at training and working with the gaffer?' 'How do you feel about playing in front of the SBA?'

Everything seems much more professional and thought out these days - kudos to the Club.

Like Godden before him, he’s had to work his way up the leagues to get to where he is. Which will be why his finishing may need some work but he will also be the type MR can develop.

Shows how much we don’t hear about transfer wise when you hear that he nearly signed in 2017 and was even at the stadium watching a game. Don’t think his name was ever even mentioned at the time.

Wonder whether his signing was predicated on us selling Jodi Jones at the time? That said, we signed JCH in early 2018 so could have chosen him instead.

We've got some great options from the bench now. And for once there's no need to play anyone who's carrying a knock or who needs resting.

Just watched it, great interview. Speaks confidently and articulately and you can see what football and making a success of his career means to him.
