I try to avoid commenting on highly emotive topics until I have had a chance to analyse all the facts. With this, I struggle. A lot of people know me as being quite unemotional but I am at heart a real "softy". I see a lot of fathers, quite rightly, identifying with the victims families, and I can honestly say, as a single guy with no plans to have children, my heart still breaks.
What happened is a senseless tragedy that no-one of sound mind will ever be able to comprehend. Regarding the most recent events, it shows how quick to hate people are, making it all about them and their own political ideology to further their perverse cause. Whilst not as bad as the perpetrator, but you can get right in the fucking same bin as them!
Let the fucking families grieve and stop making it about you! I despise everyone who goes out attacking anyone or reducing the attack into a political spectacle whilst there is some poor people trying to get to grips with their loss. I weep for my country, not just because of the attack but because some bastards are making it all about them and sowing division rather than seeking to come together.

I think he's sorting it tbf. No one thinks that is acceptable, many of us have called it out, but he just said he was out with his daughter. If we're going to be compassionate then let's not have a go at that. Obviously will change my opinion if it isn't cracked down on, but let's all stay in adult mode until proved otherwise.

Like I said, a few people reported things (strangely, it isn't the people kicking off and trying to have digs at me) and I sorted it within minutes of walking in the front door.
There have been people who have posted stuff where sometimes it's like "did they word this wrong, did they really mean it like that? is it a generational thing like somebody's grandad posting where they are just uneducated?" but those posts were none of that. It was straight up bile.

Yep it's a good point, I will try and sort something. Things were reported using the report button rather than kicking off and trying to have digs so it makes it much easier to see things and sort them promptly.
As I have said, there are people who just want to stir up trouble.
