Suggests to me that Wright sheaf Rapha will be back on the bench and the youngsters filling it last game play here instead. Shows good depth

Looking at the team from the first match it look as if it was 4231 which is what the first team have been playing

Also suggests we won't be swapping the entire team during the match, we need to get 90 mins into the legs. Although hope we will emulate Ipswich and possibly switch the entire forward line at 60 mins to keep pressure on the defence

I don't think we will lineup with a back three to be honest. My guess is
Dovin
MVE Thomas Binks Bidwell
Torp Eccles Rudoni
Saka EMC
Simms

Collins, Lati, Kitching, Dasilva, Sheaf, Palmer, Allen, Wright, Rapha, BTA

Bench looks strong there

For some reason, and I have no idea why considering it's the last proper friendly.......

He's playing wing backs 😳😳😳😳

Can only assume it's to see if Simms and BTA work well together and ensure minutes go into the legs of everyone

But I sincerely hope its just to try it as we are fucking shite in that setup
Maybe he's just trying a plan B

Or plan Z in this case, as we don't have much CB cover if we're planning 3 at the back. Probably confusing the Stoke City scouts.

Werder Bremen play 352 so are we simply experimenting to match what the opposition is playing to ensure we aren't out muscled in midfield

That's a good point, I think Mark Robins well change the formation depending on how the opposition is set up.

Very much getting to the point, especially with another signing or 2, where players that walk into certain other Championship teams are out of the matchday squad altogether.

Probably because Werder play wingbacks and it'd good practise and tactics for coming up against sides who do the same, just means Tats and EMC probably won't start

Over £6 a pint in Dhillon's now...

Any boozers near the ground with a reasonable price anymore?

Wow. Went for some England games and it wasn't the cheapest.

Didn't know it would be the same for city games when it's 1.99 in the tavern.

It's still no more than £2.50 for a cheap lager most of the day in the Tavern. Huge mark up at the Brewery.

Just paid £6 for a shit pint at Dillon’s in the concourse - a mistake I won’t make again. I do hope the Camden bar is open for competitive matches. Budweiser is piss water.
