So, where's everyone parking this coming season?

I see it's an eye-watering £18 to park at Arena Park. That really is a piss take. Surely, the most expensive parking in the league?

I'm lucky live in Bedworth and old enough to not pay on public transport but do feel sorry for people who are not .
Try Just Park or sites like that or put an ad out on social media see if can get a deal with some one living near the ground for "x number of games a season.I think those living near the ground don't realise how much they could make for a little inconvenience every home game.

If the train was running properly and regularly and with more capacity it would make more sense for people to park in Bedworth or Nuneaton

Coming over from Warwick is a pain. Oddly, it was easier to park at HR.

I'm OK. I use the YourParkingSpace app. Every game just £3.49. Booked every home game until the end of the year. Finnbarrs was OK for a fiver, just a pain getting out afterwards.

It's been a long time since I used to go in Car Park C for every game. Too costly.

I've never ever tried using the train station at the Stadium to the point I know nothing about it. Whenever I get to a game now I go to my parents in Kenilworth first. Is a train from Kenilworth to the CBS even an option or is it a shit show?

I think that is correct. Will be chaos on surrounding routes. They usually do it for Brum and Sunderland.

If you're willing to wait around for a bit after the final whistle then its a good option. I think return trains towards Coventry/Kenilworth are at 10 to the hour.
Should only be about a fiver.

If they allowed traffic to come out of CtK and turn left to go to the M6 it would save a lot of congestion elsewhere

It's a self fulfilling prophecy. The reason they close the roads is to allow safe exits for pedestrians from the Arena.

Because they don't allow fans to walk past where away fans exit people are forced into bottlenecks by the footbridge and stairs towards the roundabout.

To exacerbate the issue they have stewards everywhere who again force you on a certain path.

99% of away grounds I visit yoy walk past home fans and there isn't an issue.

This is all down to stadium safety lot. It's madness.

I drive because I take the family Torch, but the supporters club picks up outside the Nelson club. If it's just you or you and lad, by the time you've factored fuel, parking and hassle, not to mention you could have a beer, then it's worth considering.

You can turn left out of Tesco and follow the diversion.

I thought the same to be honest but I think I read there are roadworks on there which might explain it. Any way you go trying to get back to the m6 is gonna be busy tho might be worth just staying behind for a bit and waiting for it to reopen.

Trouble is there is going to be no choice but to stay behind until the road is open and then it will be really busy, albeit with no moronic pedestrians to avoid,

I saw this coming and nor longer park where I will need to use that stretch of the A444.

People forget that Highfield Rd was nearly 20 years a go.
the days before council restrictions and profitering from motorists.
you can bet your bottom dollar that if we were still at hr now there would be no on street parking on match days and restrictions galore with residence parking restrictions etc.
The only good thing about hr was its close proximity to the town Ctr so public transport was easier

Yeah, we used to park on a little industrial estate. Or park in town and walk to the ground.

I think I’ll walk this season ,takes 45 minutes.The exercise will do me good.Probably be quicker after matches and save £275

St. Finbarrs suits us, £5 on the gate, have a bit of a drive so kids can use the toilet get a drink etc.

There's a walk to the stadium so won't suit everyone.

It’s not unusual to have to wait. Blackburn Away took 50 mins to get away from the car park.
