And I HAVE been in A&E a few times in the last year and also in and out of hospital a number of times and the "full of immigrants thing" is just bollocks.
There were white people, there were black people. There was no way of knowing if any of the black people were immigrant, or British, or just on holiday. And if they did happen to be black/British, how many generations their family had been in this country.
Exactly the same with the white people.
Last time I was in A&E, which was for 14 hours, just about everyone I heard speak (I had a seat very close to the reception desk), spoke pretty fluent English.
If memory serves me right, most of the ones that didn't speak good English, were seemingly, pretty thick, white Englishmen.
