fair, although they both have some similar characteristics but also I wasn’t comparing directly - just assuming they may have decided they wanted a more direct midfielder
Fair enough.

I have Smith Rowe very much as a 10. I think if it weren't for injuries he'd be absolutely world class. I think he has more ability than Sala and Grealish.

If he stays clear of problems Fulham have an absolute bargain.

In the game I'm referring to, they had a free kick 25 yards out with 3 minutes to go and it went back to their keeper. I like the bloke but he manages as he played
manages as he played? Is he a brilliant, world class, innovative and progressive manager then?

Rumour going round the game yesterday that a Prem team has reached the asking price for Sheaf
Depends who started it…or where it originated from…£15 mil would do very nicely though, cha-ching, see ya Ben. 🤣

I wouldn’t be averse to an experienced head, Worrall or similar, but don’t think it’s a necessity (albeit I’m thankfully not the manager so what do I know)
Yeah, it doesn’t feel like a position we desperately need cover for.
If we’re going to overload a position I’d say get a LB in.
Im not the manager either but im not going to let that hold me back!

RB more pressing surely? we’ve got two LBs although one more LWB…

No proper cover for MVE, as in no actual RB

I seem to remember Arsenal having a fairly hefty sell on percentage.
Also, I’d be holding out for £20mil…
*see previous post about me not being the manager*.
Funnily enough, I did see something a few weeks ago that intimated the valuation was £20 mil…would be an extraordinary deal, if he went for £20 mil.

Any idea what % Arsenal will get? Either way, it would be immense business, considering we signed for, what, £750k 4 years ago?

Yeah, that’s true. I think if we sign the cover in positions it kinda make Lati’s role as ‘utility player’ redundant right?
I quite like him but I reckon he’d struggle to get game time.

I think I saw the same…£20mil asking price.

Someone with a better memory than me will know the percentage. I seem to remember it being higher than usual…maybe 20%?

It really does come across as an obsession tbh. You’re telling me to look in the mirror but all you ever do with regards to my comments is try to slate me for the most insignificant shit possible. It’s utterly bizarre that something so small bothers you that much.

I don’t feel like I’m changing anything significant about the stance I have on this season’s difficultly. In reference to this never-ending saga, I’ve used “a lot”, “slightly” and “much”, maybe my view is somewhere in the middle? Maybe I think of something in between writing comments that I hadn’t considered before? Maybe it’s considerable, maybe it’s not, maybe it doesn’t matter, maybe it’s an off-the-cuff comment that was never written to be analysed in this much depth, maybe we should talk about things that actually matter to our football club? 🤷🏻‍♂️
This is a mad, mad post.

I only heard of Man Utd (🤔) and Fulham’s interest but Fulham have just signed Smith Rowe so assume they don’t need Sheaf too….

Other than that I assume So’ton, Ipswich maybe? not a great move and definitely not a step up either way - unless of course it’s another case of money talks, which would be disappointing

I think it’s just a nasty rumour
Ipswich might be a good call, I thought Sheaf was the "Stand Out" performance when we played them at the end of the season.

Lost the plot - slightly , much but maybe something in the middle.

It’s like you have the inability to have multiple subtle differences in your own opinion, it’s quite weird tbf.

I believe you should always be flexible in the way you approach things. The fact that you think I’ve “lost the plot” because I thought something was “slight” in one comment and then later on “much” is, firstly, bizarre and, secondly, worrying that it bothers you so much. Either way you look at it, I think this season’s teams are easier to face than last season’s teams.

Oh BSF - what is with this mad rambling - just stick to your guns. The league looks on paper to be significantly weaker than last year. Most of us get that. Anyone arguing with you is likely just winding you up.
