The point is people see basically making @Nick have to make the decision

Without him the site doesn’t exist.

People will always be unhappy with subjective judgements but other than Hamertime there hasn’t I think been anything defined as racist.

The two people I’d have banned from here would be O Day and Houchens Head for blatant support of terrorism. One other - who is Muslim - was clearly looking at a final solution and he’d be gone as well. However, that’s my opinion. What offends some doesn’t all - this forum is becoming ridiculous - how can one individual arbitrate what is reasonable and what isn’t?

If you want subjectivity - great - then don’t moan when the verdict is delivered.
You are diverting and not answering a very simple question. I am not talking about any posts that may or may not have appeared in here.

I would have thought virtually any person could say almost instantaneously whether they agree with the club that racism is unacceptable in all its forms and should not be tolerated. It's either a yes or a no.

Sky news reporter looked in huge discomfort in Birmingham just then. Hundreds of blokes out in balaclavas with swords waiting for the 'EDL' to arrive.

Hold up a moment, I could certainly see a few teenage prick wannabe gangsters in that clip, and a fair size group of men over the road, but where were the hundreds of people with swords.

Again, this shit is dangerous. Making stuff up or repeating it unchecked is exactly how we got here.

I was going to suggest Pork Swords, but I think thta's even more offensive to the Muslim population.

To be fair, it looks like one. Can't say 100% though.

Police nowhere to be seen though.

Hang on a minute guys, I need more information. Where are the free samosas?

At a mosque near you.

Seriously, for all the shit that religion gets (which I can understand), if you were a hungry man and turned up to a mosque, or a church, or a gurdwara, the odds are that someone would try to help you.

Then again, I'm still dumb enough to believe that most people here would too, regardless of faith or politics. (Unless you were wearing a V*lla top of course, but that goes without saying). 😁

Again it comes back to a conversation and discussion.

There are planned fascist demos at various immigration and visa places this Wednesday as well to make people aware so they can stay safe.

Nothing in Coventry, but there is in Newcastle, Sheffield, Birmingham and many other places.

Shut up you silly c**t, the riots and trashing towns were pathetic you baiting bellend
The usual classy well articulated one line response. I am glad you felt the riots and trashing were wrong but not clear what your thoughts about the violent intimidation and targetting of ethnic groups and physically attacking police are? Hope you condone it all?

Do you agree the motives behind it were shockingly disgusting and nothing to do with the attacks on those poor children in Southport. I hope you agree the misinformation and lies circulated in recent years by Conservative & Unionist party politicians, the Daily Mail and on social media has inflamed the situation deliberately. I hope you recognise that these sad, angry, lonely, desperate people who wanted to get pissed/drugged up in the sun and jump on a little bandwagon without understanding the reasons are wrong and being disenfranchised is no excuse. I hope you agree they have no educated understanding of economics, politics, society, religion etc. etc. etc. I hope you agree they were primarily all out for a bit of a 'fun', a bit of violence and a bit of looting. I hope you can see that this is the same demographic of people who voted Brexit. Can you see the similarity in the demographics here with demographics of people who vote for Trump. The same people who admire views of Stephen Yaxley-Lennon and Andrew Tate. The same people who display shocking extreme misogynistic views. The same people who wet-the-bed about supporting the basic principle behind BLM of pointing out the evil of racism. The same people who defended Israeli government in reaction to horror of 7th October. The same people who suspect Ukraine/Nato has provoked Putin and it is all there fault. I could go on.

We desperately need some bad weather this weekend to send these people back into their homes and pubs!
I genuinely hope we can all find a solution to calm things down but I fear not judging by the video footage of those wrong-uns. This and all forms of extremism is bad for the country, bad for local investment and jobs, makes places less safe and make the UK much more of a risk/target for random extremist attacks.

We have an ageing population who needs immigration and a wide range of public services that are struggling. we have massive companies that pay negligible tax. The disenfranchised need to somehow grow up and understand they are being brainwashed by exploitative social media narcissists and try and see the bigger picture. Breeding such hatred helps no-one including their own families, and mates and local neighbourhoods/towns. I include you in this SkyBlueDom26 as one of the many people on here who sympathise with many of the views I've listed. You are by far not the worst cuplrit which says a lot really.

Life is to short for all this crap. I would love to see a peace march in all major Cities celebrating the benefits of all us living together peacefully but even Mary Poppins would raise an eyebrow about that. I fear there will be some further demonstrations and retaliation from the left which is precisely what the right wingers want. Is there any hope?

I don’t know why it concerns you so much either - especially as it’s a few days into using one of your defunct accounts

There was also a "cyst on the brain" which is something no one in the medical profession recognises
Yet a friend's daughter had one at birth and needed a shunt fitting, quite frequently at first, probably explains her eccentric manner , beautiful person though.

I think, like with what's happened in Birmingham tonight, there will be the spread of misinformation (again) and there won't actually be any protests. Certainly not on the scale of the weekend. People won't dare.

All day there have been warnings of protests in Bradford and Birmingham and there's been no right wing people turn up.

The issue is, if it gets spread, communities will come out like in Small Heath and there is risk of further confrontation with police.

I don't know how to word it without it sounding like I'm playing down the rioting as not serious, but I'm really not.

The people who seem to be pictured the most look like gimps who are 6 stone wet through, man bag on, ribs on show. Of course, setting fires is dangerous and can kill but what I mean is they look pathetic.

When you see the contrast with the gangs with knives and bats. They are really not fucking about.

The police will handle it differently in small heath.

That’s fair, I hope you are right. These have been planned since before the weekend, but hopefully they won’t go through with it anyway.

Give them a chance mate, I seriously doubt that the police are not there by now. You might be disappointed though, they're not likely to pile straight in, in the same way that couldn't control the arseholes burning down the hotel.

They'll go for containment and de-escalation first. If the EDL doesn't show (and I'll bet they don't), then I think this will peter out. The dickhead carrying the sword might get lifted now or later perhaps.

Again though, there aren't hundreds of Muslims with swords, are there?

They might tell them to go home with the weapons like previously.

Sky news were there but no police in sight?

I get the de escalation technique but then you have people there on sky news (there was somebody in Stoke with a huge machete) not caring who sees.

They might get lifted. I think the police should also make it clear that they are as well.

My post was quoting Rachel Reeves.

I actually have no idea what the legal definition would be of racism. I'd ban Charles for a week and the morons who liked his post as its an outrageous slur - but that is my opinion
What ban me for trying to call out racism, hatred, violence, misogyny? I only do it in a naïve hope that some people on here try and pause and take a breath and think about their human side. Are you saying I'm out of order for that?

I value my different friends from different parts of the world that live here. I value my children, my wife, my mum and wider family etc. My grandad fought in North Africa in WW2 against these sort of radical extremist views to help sustain peace (appreciate he probably didn't have a choice) . We live in a reasonably OK country and its being ruined by these numbskulls for no reason.

All of us should be calling out these extreme views.

There's also a video of a gang of Muslim blokes attacking a bloke and calling him a white c**t.

In fairness there's not much context to it to know if the white fella had done anything to them or not.

Yup, Canterbury, which is only 25 mins drive for us, so we are thinking of going (don't think I need to clarify which side)

Only if it's a peaceful protest though and a call for calm.

I think strength in numbers has worked in other towns. Just the presence.

Doesn't matter. A gang against one bloke?

Always think anything like that is cowardly.

For want of a better word it's going to be interesting to see how the opening weekend of football affects all this disorder. Certainly in Stoke.

He's speaking a lot of sense there. People need to talk. People need to realise there's a lot of people at the top that are dividing us and creating the poverty.

Think he’s saying more that there’s people whether it be Tate, Robinson etc who are making careers and money from disinformation and hate. He’s also suggesting that the white working class shouldn’t be seen as the enemy as many have been forgotten about and left behind by the governments

Let's us know when you have decided whether racism is unacceptable in all its forms and should not be tolerated. It seems you need some more time to think about it.

Police are at this one, not sure if it's the same place or not. This one looks like a lot of people standing peacefully in front of a mosque. No obvious weapons, no direct threat to people or property, and no reason for the police to get involved.

Don't get me wrong mate, I'm all for anyone carrying a bladed weapon being locked up.

But the reality here is that the Police will want to keep it calm, and I suspect they're likely to let things go if it stays peaceful. Not saying that's right, but I understand it.

I was at the Dover one a very long time ago and it most certainly wasn’t peaceful.

These things always start off that way, but things can turn so just have an exit strategy prepared!

I would have thought Canterbury itself would be a low turn out for the right, but the surrounding towns might change that.

What I don't get is in the video where the copper said to take weapons back to the mosque he also referenced the edl being there.

Who is it that's saying the "EDL" are turning up at certain locations? Who's pulling the strings from both sides? Did I imagine it that somebody was offering to pay people to flip police cars?

What so racism is solely a legal issue, you’re not qualified to determine legality of things, so you can’t possibly say if something is racist or not?

I’ve heard some absolute drivel in my time but this is special
Now everyone knows I was right about the racist c**t

To be fair I saw the video on the left and it was peaceful and couldn't see anybody stood about with weapons on show.

This is why people say about the two tier stuff and why it should be made clear that people carrying swords will be dealt with.

Somebody was charged because she pushed a wheelie bin towards police today, if people aren't found and charged for carrying swords it just puts fuel onto that.

These midweek "protests" have a big let's pretend we are coming somewhere so loads of Muslim lads turn upas well and they get filmed on the streets vibe about them.

Would they really turn up that near to Small Heath.
