Surely it's going to have to be officially launched soon with the season starting next weekend away to a team with white shorts?

Can’t see it’s a massive issue really. First time we need a none sky blue kit is 22nd October. We can easily wear sky blue shorts or dark blue if that’s what they are going to be.

All clubs have to submit their colours and combinations for potential clashes to the EFL during pre-season, so they have to announce the away kit formally next week. They can be rejected which can hold up releases etc. Shorts is a weird one, it's pretty much discretionary I think, socks defintely can't clash for obvious reasons, but when do Leeds ever wear anything but white shorts with their home kit, for example?

It’s definitely less strict that UEFA’s rules which mean England are nearly always wearing all white. I imagine we’d be in our home kit v Stoke?

I wonder whether they've had a late redesign after that shoddy leak a few weeks ago.

Oh yeah, i think last year it was leaked by a football league magazine who got hold of all the clubs colours wasn't it?
Yeah, I think both the 2nd and 3rd got leaked like that, it was the EFL handbook (y)

Are shorts not allowed to clash? If not, we could always wear last season's sky blue shorts so we play in all sky blue away at Stoke.
No, we will have to have an alternative option. Hopefully the white kit has some navy or sky blue shorts.

We see the same thing when teams with white socks play Chelsea, they have to change them for a different colour at the bridge

4 days to go to the season opener and we have no away kit announced, that has got to be a record.

Commercial department hasn’t been upgraded yet …….but hopefully Doug hasn’t forgotten about it & when we get higher calibre people in , we might get kits before August ?

Stoke wear white shorts so we'd have to change ours i think

The rules are a bit vague but shirts can't clash. When it comes to kit "there has to be sufficient contrast."

Both teams wearing red shorts and white socks would be a no no. I think they put the emphasis on the socks being a different colour?

You don't have to wear an away kit i.e Liverpool v Chelsea both teams could wear their home kits.

I think we will wear our home kit at Stoke.

Not sure our shirt clashes with anyone but we'll still have 3 kits. If it's white I don't like it, but if they have all 3 correct and our 3rd is black with gold trim, I'll be all over that.

That Black Kit would've been ideal for Stoke on Saturday. 🤔
