An update from a NOW TV subscriber via BT/EE :-

I now have all Championship matches available when I use the NOW TV app and can see City's game as an option to watch, from 12:20, on Saturday.

On my TV (via the BT/EE box) I have the Leeds v Portsmouth game featured on the 'Sky Sports Plus' channel at 12:20 on Saturday, but am still unsure if I'll be able to watch any other matches (including City), on TV, via a 'red button' feature.

Does anyone know if I'll be able to watch the Stoke v City match via the TV ? - or will I have to be in the sad isolation of my 'man cave', on the desktop PC (I know, I know), for many away fixtures ?

The first person to suggest that I buy a laptop, gets locked in Currys for six hours being 'talked at' by one of their 'very knowledgable' assistants - as punishment.

Can you download the NowTV app on your tv?

It should be available as a red button option on the sky sports+ channel via the box

At launch, the streaming aspect will only be accessible on Virgin Media's TV 360 and Virgin Media Stream boxes. Unfortunately, older boxes such as the V6 will not support the streaming features of Sky Sports+

so you will get the core sports channels but not the many games shown live at the same time
What?!? If that's true that's shocking. The V6 boxes do just fine streaming Netflix, at higher quality and bitrates compared to Sky Sports+.

I assumed I’d have this as a Sky Sports customer via SkyQ, now I have my doubts.

I pay for Sky Sports PL and Sky Sports Football (I don’t pay for main event, cricket, golf).

Will I get Sky Sports +?

I remember when Sky came in and my mate used to tape the WWF Royal Rumble for me. Along with Cov results, that was about the most thrilling thing I could think of as a teenager.

The Premier League is a much better league thanks to S*y, I can't wait to see what happens to the Championship. If only they'd end the blackout, then it would get even better.

Lucky you, mines £145
Blimey! I have all Sky channels, all Sky Sports channels, and Netflix included. Don't bother with Sky Movies though. I have enough with Netflix and other stuff. Anyhow, I pay £68 monthly. Oh, and that includes the "all rooms" thing, so I can watch Sky in the front room and the missus can watch Sky in the bedroom. Looking forward to watching Sports+, as I can't get to matches these days.

I have NOWTV, with movies and sport and that costs me £39 a month.

So our game is on Sky Sports+, found that okay, but it would appear that you can't set it up to actually record the match or watch it again later. So need to make sure I am at home at 12.30pm otherwise I miss it. Or am I being thick?

I don't think so. I think you can only record if it's on a main channel.

Maybe someone could confirm that though.
Thanks. One of those little hiccups to be sorted when they start showing the SS+ matches.
