It does appear that off topic threads are getting beyond absurd in arguments and counter arguments with an awful lot of accusations.
I think a lot of this is done by posters who are deliberately being provavtune and putting a politics agenda before football
I accept in the summer months this is likely to escalate but posters like @Ring Of Steel and @skybluetony176 along with others are clearly not interested in the primary objective - talking about football and specifically Coventry City.
I think it would be entirely reasonable once the season starts to assess who is contributing more to the primary purpose - CCFC - and who has other agendas.
A moderator could assess contributions over say a month and decide if posters are truly interested in the primary purpose of the site and if not to be blocked from posting.
I think this would create less confrontation and more harmony
