I’ll be honest here. I like Off Topic because this place is a melting pot of people not drawn from a particular ideology and that’s super rare to find. Does it mean you see things you might not be comfortable with? Obviously. Does Nick generally figure stuff out OK as mod? Yeah I think so.

Like Dube always sad to see OT push a decent poster away. I appreciate not everyone likes the unfiltered cut and thrust, but I do think there’s value in it in an increasingly segregated online world.

Ive not seen what’s posted today, so can’t really comment. But generally I disagree. Trolls like Grendel and Boosh who only post to disrupt threads and wind people up are far more disruptive than a racist generally when running a forum. I’m not sure what some kind of ranking helps anyway. Do we have to have a given level of annoyance and so if we lose a racist we need to bring in a low effort troll?

The point I was making about the videos were to disprove them based on the video contents rather than the Twitter accounts posting them. Anybody with eyes can then read it and make a decision on what they think as it's been discussed.

well maybe I haven’t said some of the stuff they came out with, I dunno.

As I said to other people, the reason I had different accounts is that I had a load of shit going on personally, and I wanted to ‘start afresh’ without the legacy of getting sucked into rows, and yeah clearly that didn’t pan out too well- so when I came back this time I just thought what the hell. I only did post as I got a bit incensed by the stuff gimoc and gynns were posting.
