Yeah and at least we can wear the Navy Shorts đź©ł and Sky Blue Shirts when we play teams like Leeds etc.
Looks a bit spursy

Edit, I meant with the white shirt navy shorts ofc not the home one sorry.

Total cop out for me. We've not had a tradition of white shirts.

Why can't they resurrectate that stunning 2-Tone Kit, with a slight update, if White was the theme this season.

I want to see the Brown kit come back as well (with a modern twist ofcourse)

We also had some nice Yellow kits in the 80's/90's which could be looked at.

At least it's better than the shocking Red & Navy checquers effort last season. Made us look like a team out of the Midlands Regional Alliance league

We've had a couple, haven't we in the past? Not a fan of white kits or red really for that matter.

Ok. I actually like the whole kit. Looks "clean" 🤣
However.....
On how many occasions are we actually going to even have the predicament where we CAN wear it!?!
Most "Blue" clashes involve white on the part of the other teams clash.... rendering this non- usable.
Could we see the 3rd kit having to be worn before this gets an outing!?!

What you’ve done there is complain there is no tradition attached to our new away kit and then listed a bunch of other kits which we had no tradition of until we wore them, and which haven’t been central to our club identity outside of the seasons they were in use.

I think you misunderstand the intent of away kits. They are necessarily inconsistent. The home kit has to stay largely the same because it’s the key to the entire identity of the club, whereas the away kit has to change if people are going to buy it in addition to the home kit, or as an alternative to it because they don’t feel like the year on year change is significant enough to justify the cost.

Not everything has to be a deeply significant cultural artefact. Sometimes the away kit can just be an away kit. But I think even that would be an unfair criticism of this one. Look at it objectively, this new kit speaks far more to our history and tradition than any of the ones you mentioned - it literally has the city printed on it.

My only issue with it is that the home kit is already light enough, the Le Coq Sportif/Isuzu one worked because we had the dark striped home kit as contrast. We know at least one more kit is coming so I can't see too many games where this one will actually be needed

Let’s be honest both these kits are budget. Cheap single colour templates with fabric print they then spin some story around.

No effort put in by Hummel. Time to move on (pref to Umbro).
Luton having issues with Umbro! Still have nothing (kit/merch) on sale at all apparently!

Isn't Umbro now Castore, essentially a rebranding exercise as Castore had so many issues with both supply and quality.

Not sure I buy that Luton 'rolling over' their Umbro kits is some great gesture to their fans rather than a fuck up with a new kit.

This was the original photo. Not only cropped, but wording actually moved over. Does this mean Sheaf is sold?
Contingency additional shot in case he is sold ??
Does seem odd to have the captain off to the right of the pic, and not right in the centre.
But of course, we could be reading way too much into this lol.

Tbf both the away and third were better than last season’s home travesty.

Really disappointed it is white. We have had two white Two Tone kits recently which were much better and more imaginative. This one seems very bland.

It would have been nice to have something totally new like black with gold trim.

There's 3 I'd like if we moved away from Hummel.

Kappa, Errea and O'Neils.

All 3 are putting out some stunning kits this season.
